My boyfriend has a lego Horizon Forbidden West model, do you recommend me to buy this?

My husband is very happy with it and still play with it. I have to say that it looks really nice too.

Does this need to be installed during the initial building of the set or can it be done after the set is already completed?

The instructions that come with it are after the kit is assembled, you remove specific pieces to hide the wires, and they show which ones.
