The media could not be loaded. It does cog a little from a stop (associated mt10) but not bad, especially once you figure out how it "likes" you to initiate throttle. It's a hair faster than my dad's VXL Slash on 2s. I even did some kind of crawling while playing around and it did fine, motor and ESC didnt get hot after a full pack. Overall pretty solid but it does cog a bit from a stop.Update: went to 5 stars after 7-8 runs with no issues. The cogging doesn't bother me and usually only happens when reversing then going back to forward. Temps good, no issues in snow, run times are good. 5 stars for the price around $50

The esc and motor are working very well. I did have to help the fan get running again after bashing on small rocks and getting it wet but it runs strong. The esc will cut power if it gets too hot but that's a good thing. The motor is plenty fast but will cog if your gears are too high or your tires are too big. Make sure what you order is applicable for your application and then, SEND IT! Search my name on your tube and see it in action.

The motor is great! The esc works great but it fan needs upgraded as soon as u get it. Runs pretty hot but with some high speed alloy fans its doing much better. 'i added a motor fan and replaced the esc fan' found a fan with the same plug and went as planned. Im running a converted Arrma granite boost 4x4, 91t metal spur and 19t metal pinion, 2s lipo is hitting 65mph, 3s on the way wish me luck!

i put one in my traxxas 2WD rustler and it works very wellon a 3s lipo i can go faster then a vxl 2WD on 2s lipoalso most of the bad reviews seems to just be user error

Bought for my 4X4 Stampede project. I mated some 1/8th scale summit MT wheels & tires on a 1/10th scale ;)Needed lots of torque for the HUGE size and mass. So why not use a 1/8th scale brushless motor set-up for 1/8th scale racing buggies, right? Figured I'd run a decent 3S 50c LiPo. Gear low as I can and see what it does!Well first, it's a heavy, mental, land missile! Easily hits 50mph, if you ease into the throttle. Otherwise just wants to pop a wheelie at slight touch of the trigger. Punch it full throttle and it literally does a backflip. No Joke! The issue I have with it now is not the motor or speed control. It's the Stampede platform itself. Not strong enough. I have sheered axle pins, broke axles, snapped control arms, twisted main drive shaft, etc. Buy a stronger part and the next weakest link fails. Drivetrain is upgraded with the strongest stuff available after market wise. It's almost undrivable and brutally insane. The only issue I have is no programming cards work with it! I would love to dial it down some.
