Yes its fine

These strippers are not just good. These strippers are by far the best wire strippers available today. I have tried many, many strippers and since I tried these, my days of searching are over. I do a lot of wire stripping for #18 AWG to #24 AWG. These strippers are machined perfectly to remove the insulation without cutting a single wire strand. Over and over, wire type by wire type, they are PERFECT! Also, the rotational resistance between the two parts is exactly what is needed. How did they do that? If you do a lot of small wire stripping, do yourself a favor and get a pair of these. If you don't instantly love them, I will buy you a 10 lb. bag of Reeses.

These are well made for the price. They don’t have a spring but they have the widest wire gauge strippers and widest bolt cutters range of other strippers I have used.

I’m really impressed with this WGGE wire stripper.
