I loved the connectors. If I could have done 100% through the fuse box, I would have been so happy. I installed on a Toyota FJ Cruiser. The kit seemed easy enough to install until I started looking for a constant positive and convenient ground. I ended up tapping into my car stereo integration. The camera stays on while the car is parked and works as expected. Quality seems middle of the road and will likely not cause any problems down the line.

When just plugging it in seems too easy--how hard could it be to route a couple wires under your dash? The kit includes everything you need to do a "Permanent Wiring" install for your Wolfbox dashcam (G930). You only need to identify two fuses in the cabin fuse block--one always hot, the other switched. (It's also nice to know what they control--for example, my Ranger had several "spare" fuses that make it slightly easier.) Next you get to figure out how to route the wires. Since I installed it in the dash tray I had to run the wires to the middle of the dash (rear camera too). It only seemed impossible. A few hours later and it was all good. The nice thing is the kit includes generously long leads (I thought they were too long at first) so I was able to find a way. Once it was all in place it fired right up as soon as I plugged in the camera. Guessing the little box in the middle has something to do with sensing the battery voltage and preventing running it too low, and thinking this is probably the only part of this kit that might ever experience a problem. Still, I always unplug the camera when I park in the garage, just in case.

Over all this OEM hardwire kit by Wolfbox is great. No more second thougts if it’s compatible. Having experience with hardwiring a dashcam on the fuse box, powering this unit was easy. Yet, I have a suggestion for the manufacturer of this hardwire kit. 1 being, I just wish the fuse tapps supplied are in pairs since one wire goes to constant power and the other one is on power when the ignition is on have to be the same type of fuse tapp. This means if one’s vehicle uses a mini fuse, micro fuse and so on, it must be supplied 2 identical type of fuse tapp. This in my opinion makes more sense since you will need 2 of the same type. 2nd and this is my take is the wires going to the 2 power supplies and the ground from the fuse box to the install kit must be at least 16 gauge or 14 gauge at best since the device is taking power from the fuse box. Moreover, a thicker gauge wires are better quality. Plus this makes crimping connectors easier rather than the thin wires on the kit. Finally, I just wish it came with double sided tape for mounting the black box. If these points are followed I wouldn’t mind paying a little more for this kit. Perhaps, this is a good maketing point for this kit that it has a thicker gauge wire so the unit wiring will not burn out from the power its taking from the fuse panel and the fuse tapps are in pairs so no more driving to the auto supply store for an additional fuse tapp. But over all, the one I got works fine on the Wolfbox 840S I got when I first supplied power on this unit. Time will tell if this unit will last. I hope it will outlast my 28 year old F150 I got. Cause just the wiring on a harness and the routing took a lot of pannel removal took most of my day.

Fast and easy install, came with the right fuses and works great.. just remember the red wire goes to ACC and the yellow to constant power lol I had them backwards but once I got it right it worked amazingly... definitely recommend if you want the cameras to record when the car is off

To do a permanent install you need a power cable and--with most newer vehicles--some kind of fuse tap to get power off your fuse block. This kit includes a generous length of wire, multiple fuse taps (for different sizes), a handy tool to pry trim or push wires behind it and my favorite part, a little box that will automatically shut off power to the camera if the battery voltage drops below a certain amount. This feature is a necessity if you intend to wire the camera to use the parking monitor feature which requires a constant 12V source. To prevent the battery from being drained while the vehicle is parked, this little device monitors the battery voltage and, when it gets low, stops the camera from drawing any additional current until the voltage goes back up. The quality of the parts is good--as I have experienced from other Wolfbox equipment I have bought. This is a good purchase in that I didn't have to make up any cables of my own nor did I have to find fuse taps, etc. My cam is installed permanently and cleanly thanks to this kit.

自分で接続をしました。無知なのが原因かもしれませんが、説明書通り赤をアクセサリー、黄色を常時電源につなぎました。そうすると キーを回していないのにWolfBoxがたちあがってしまったので、悩んだあげく反対につなぎました。 すると一見正常に起動するようになったんですが、駐車監視モードがうごいてるようにおもえません。（設定でオンにしてます） 何かアドバイスがあればお願いします。
