I have had these for more than a year. I bought 2. I have only used one. I have re-profiled 3 or 4 axes and 2 machetes so I could stone sharpen them to a high degree. the "flat fine" is fairly worn out and the "curved fine" has seen better days. no complaints. I used it hard. Now I have discovered that this file is the perfect tool for reshaping machete grips. I can rough in a shape and immediately begin to smooth it on the same tool. the size is perfect for this as well. the worn out sides of the file are pretty effective on (relatively) soft plastics and woods. for the price i have gotten my moneys worth. if you are doing the same type of things that I am doing, I would recommend. they are small and inexpensive. for me its the right tool for the right job.

Use these when I take my kid to the park. I'll whittle while she runs ammuck. File is not super hard but effective on softer items. Could be sharper as well

My favorite tool when trying to shave, some timber got the flat side in the round side of both course and fine small enough to easily move around and pick it up and shave bits off keep a brush handy to clear the file I have used for some time works well Would easily buy another few just to ensure that I’ve still got someone on hand. i’ve been using to shape Australian hardwood, so it’s definitely been tried and tested and has passed.

Rasp is very slightly smaller than the dimensions advertised, but this does not affect useability. Have used it successfully on wood, but have not yet tried it on metal tools. Would buy again.
