My shrimp, plecos and snails love this food. They come out of their hiding places for it.

I picked this up specifically because I’m trying to improve the health of my mystery snails and shrimp tank. My snails were starting to show lighter shell growth, which usually means they’re missing minerals, so I wanted to make sure everything in the tank was getting proper nutrition. The sticks are a good size (not powdery or messy), and they sink right away, which I like. I dropped a few near where my baby shrimp were, and they immediately started gathering and eating, so that was a good sign. I also have mystery snails in the tank, and while this is labeled for shrimp, they’ve been grazing around it too without any issues. One of my ivory (white) mystery snails actually grabbed a pellet, pulled it under its foot, and basically wrapped it up in substrate and mucus and sat on it to eat. It was kind of gross, but also a really clear sign it was interested and actively feeding. It’s too early to say long-term results, but so far: No clouding in the water Shrimp actively eating it Snails clearly interacting with it Easy to portion and doesn’t fall apart instantly I like that it feels like a “complete” food instead of just filler. Blunt truth: I didn’t buy this just to feed the tank, I bought it to fix a problem, and so far it’s actually doing its job.

I have several products that I feed my shrimp nano tanks, but this is by FAR their favorite. Very happy with the food!

Great product however my trash shrimp prefer snail poop. You win some you lose some.

This seller is awesome. I received the shrimp food right away, nicely packaged. As a free gift I also received a sample of banana leaves and snail food. They also included a cute little sticker that my youngest promptly stuck on my fudge. The shrimp food. My cherry shrimps like it. However there are some tiny white pieces in the sticks that my shrimps don’t seem too fond of so I had to vacuum them out of the tanks. Funny enough, the snail food sample was the biggest hit in my tank. Every single shrimp came out, I didn’t even know I had so many in there. The snails had a hard time even getting near it. When I finish this order of complete I’ll try another flavor they have for the shrimps. Also, these sticks are pretty big. They’re fine for my 55 gallon tank, but for my 5 gallons and smaller I needed to break them up.

I've had very good experiences with the Shrimp King line of foods. The Yummy Gum and the Complete have both been favs of my yellow shrimp. It took a couple of feedings for them to pick up on the foods scent, but once they did, it's a pig pile! I've been using the Baby food for thesuoer tiny little critters I recover from my pre-filters and cleaning waste. I'm getting a bunch of the buggers surviving to maturity in my incubator tank. It all seems to be very good stuff.

We recently started using these and they make an incredible difference. We suppliment feeding with a few of these sticks three times a week for a population of about 30 shrimp in a 5 gallon tank. They all flock to it and overflow the dish within seconds of being in the tank. We usually include a bit of a different product as well just to make sure they're getting everything they need but their main focus is clearly these. We struggled with breeding (I think due to lack of the right nutrition) but after using these for three weeks, we already have at least 3 newly berried females. I absolutely recommend this product. For reference, this is the cycle we use now: Day 1: 2-3 Shrimp King Sticks + 4-5 pebbles Hikari Shrimp Cuisine Day 2: None Day 3: 2-3 Shrimp King Sticks + 1 Tetra Algea Wafer Day 4: None Day 5: 2-3 Shrimp King Sticks + 2-3 sticks Hikari Crab Cuisine Day 6: None Day 7: 15% water change + Bacter AE Feeding dish is removed after a few hours to cut down on the detritus. Shrimp are removed for a good tank cleaning and gravel siphoning on the fourth 7th day. Our water is always super clear, there is a healthy amount of established biofilm and the nitrogen cycle is balanced well. This schedule is proving to be working amazingly so far and we're going to upgrade the tank size soon to keep up with the breeding.

My shrimp like these so as long as they are happy so am i. good buy.
