Purchased for a person that I worked with that was having extreme difficulty with eating. This silverware set allowed him to maintain as much independence as possible along with his dignity. The ability to bend the pieces so they were more natural for him made it so much easier for him to eat. The hand straps helped to keep from dropping the utensil when he would have a harder episode of tremors. Highly recommend for someone who suffers from tremors or gripping issues. Priceless for someone who is having a hard time.

My husband has Parkinson’s and these utensils make it a lot easier for him to feed himself. They are weighted which helps his hand not to shake so much. You can bend them to whatever angle is the easiest for use. We have changed the angle on ours twice now as his Parkinson’s progresses. This is my third purchase of these. I got the bigger set to begin with and he really likes the knife. When we decided these worked for him. I bought the set with just the fork and spoon. But the silverware in my home they mysteriously disappear and then reappear later. So I bought the third set so he always has at least one clean utensil. These do not fit in a silverware drawer. The handles are quite large and textured. I solved the storage problem by buying a four bottle of wine rack. It works perfectly. We have been using these utensils for over a year And we have had no problem with their durability These are definitely worth the price that you pay for them. It is a small price to pay to help your person retain their mobility and feed themselves.
