Bought for a major house refurbishment. Extracts corroded 150mm M12s from wet brick, bent 100mm M10s from boarded timber and drives anything into anything. Quality comparable to the usual expensive makes at a much lower price. Lasts a long time and charges very quickly. With minimal thinking ahead you don't need a second battery. Supplied bits are good quality too - much to my surprise. It's been very thoroughly tested on this job and not found wanting. Genuinely impressed with this.

I bought this Impact Driver to undo screws that were very tight. I have only used it once, and it seems very effective. I cannot rate the battery yet as I've only used it for a few minutes. The kit seems very good overall, and is very good value for the money as you get a charger, battery, some screw bits, nut sockets and a bag to put it in.

Got brought this in Black Friday for a Xmas present. It is really good quality and the driver is very punchy and strong at implanting the screw without pre drilled holes. Comes with quite a few accessories and a nice carry bag. Used a few times and not had to recharge yet so can’t really comment on the battery life.

The driver is lightweight, powerful and very competitively priced. Complete with a set of sockets, driver bits and a heavy duty carry case. I bought the the driver for a project with Oak sleepers, which it handled with ease. I would recommend it to any DIY enthusiast.

I have a number of Wesco 18 volt tools and they all perform well, are easy to use and well designed, After establishing that the impact driver was effective in driving screws into hard wood I came across a short video on Youtube comparing the Wesco impact driver and a Milwarkee model (seach on Youtube "Wesco Impact driver") and this too gives a positive view of the Wesco impact driver. There was one problem that I encountered with this tool. When delivered I found that the charger did not work, initially the green LED came on and then faded and the voltage on the connections dropped to zero. I contacted Wesco via Amazon and they sent me a new charger using the Amazon delivery system. I suspect that there was a problem with the switched mode power supply and as all the others which I own perform well this failure says nothing about the build and design quality, but the quick and effective response from Wesco says a lot about the quality of the company in resolving problems.
