Braun Lithium Ion Battery for Pulsonic Series 7, Series 8 and Series 9 Model Shavers

Watched a "How to" video on Youtube and it works perfectly. After install I fired up the razor for a few seconds then turned it off, placed the shaver on charger for and evening and overnight(10hrs).I've been using the shaver every day for 6 days and it still indicates it is fully charged. When new the Braun Series 7 would easily last 2-3 weeks on a charged. This looks promising. The battery is identical to the original in every way. I obtained the link to this item from ifixit.com and they wouldn't recommend it if it wasn't good.

Fit my Braun 790 cc that is from years and years ago. New battery brought it back to life.

I bought this to replace the battery in my 7 series Braun shaver that wasn’t holding its charge as long as when new. I’m returning this battery as it doesn’t hold a charge much longer then the bad one it’s replacing.

seems to work and my shaver doesn't die after a couple of minutes. who knew? good for braun for making their shaver batter user-replaceable. a power screwdriver with the right attachment helps too.

This was easy to install in my shaver and it works like it’s brand new.

Ordered it for my Braun Series 7 shaver.The battery that I received was specifically Sanyo UR 18500Y. The original one in the shaver was Sanyo UR 18500L. I checked the datasheets, and the voltages turned out to be the same, the only differences were that the new one was 1300 mAh (compared to 1200 mAh for the original one) and the dimensions were just a tiny bit larger, but I was able to put it in without any problems. And it works. Time will tell how long it will last (the original one lasted for almost 10 years!).
