SONOFF THR316D Elite Smart Temperature and Humidity Monitoring Switch

Just installed, all very easy to setup too. I've used others and the relay has failed, this one has beefy PCB traces with extra solder and a 20A relay which makes a good positive click noise. The screw terminals are also solid and well made.Bit disappointed it did not have in built cable grip, the 4 power terminals are right at the bottom so it's not really something that i feel could be surface mounted, perhaps OK with the use of double insulated single core wire, but it's not so common in these smaller sizes.Unit is designed to fit into double back box and it fitted fine. Although i didn't have a double blank, will get one and pop some holes in for the LEDs and button.Been running at 14A for 2 or 3 hours now and no feeling of warming or stress.Missing feature i would say is power and energy monitoring, not expensive components to add so surprised they didn't.Im not using the temperature and humidity probe so can't comment on that.

Thermostat NOT included !Will not work as show in description (temp/humidity display) if you don't buy the thermostat.

Used to boost Hot Water when solar insufficient via a Dimplex Free-E unit so only using signal current. Needed to box terminals in so notched out back of a 100x100x50 junction box to trap unit to wall, allowing use of manual override/pairing button and sight of LEDs.Temperature probe is only 0.5m long so I spliced the 3 wires (in box) to my old 1m long probe after removing original plug from that.Software now allows you to set operating times with different temperature cut-offs as required, with no lose of timings during power cuts unlike the Free-E unit.

Tried 2 of these now, both failed after about a week.
