This is the best compost bag hands down. Compost bags have become mandatory, so I started buying bags. I landed in these just a few days ago, they cost a little more, but the value of what I get makes them a much better overall deal and value. Why? It can fit in my 1.3 gallon bin perfectly and also has handles so when it bin is full is much easier to pull out and tie up. Also, if there is a Tupperware full of leftover spaghetti on trash day, I can just grab a bag, fill it, tie it, carry it out by the handle and drop it in my compost bin. Large deposits can go straight out of the house much easier in this bag than any other bag. Which means we are more likely to use them, and less likely to get fined for dining food in our trash cans. The bags are nice and thick, very durable and so far I haven’t ripped one of them yet even with a few pounds of spaghetti. I like the green bags matching my green bin. I am also told the bright green bags make them easier to be seen when these bags are getting sorted at the land fill and going into compost These are the best bags I’ve tried, no doubt, I tried many others and they didn’t work as well as these. Saving a few cents per bag isn’t worth it. I’ll stick with these. thank you.

Not only a great bag because it's compostable, but it has a very slight fragrance so what's in the bag doesn't smell bad.

After my last compost bags neared the end of the roll, they were functionally ineffective as the bottoms would rip open when being separated from the roll of bags, hence, I found these bags as a replacement. These bags separate off the roll easily and fit my small kitchen compost container well. The handle tie tops make them easy to remove from the container and allow me to quickly place into my large outdoor composter. At this time, I cannot state the decomposition rate as it is too soon, but I do appreciate the robustness of the bags when transferring as they held up nicely during the process. As with every bag I have tried, there is a bit of moisture that accumulates at the base of my kitchen composter, which sometimes has caused other bags to deteriorate and catastrophic failure to occur when transferring. These bags have held up to the additional moisture and have seemed more robust than other bags.

These are the only compost bags I use. They are a bit expensive yet they serve the purpose perfectly. Just make sure you change them out weekly, if not they will start to decompose.

I love these bags. I live in an RV and hang up a bag each day. At the end of the day I take my dog for a walk and take out the trash. There are small enough to hang on a hook, they tie easily and have a loop to hold on to and they are biodegradable. Win-Win all around.

My family and I are always in the kitchen cooking or cleaning and these little bags come in handy when cleaning out food scraps, peelings, or food from the fridge. It helps us be more aware organic waste that we can put in the bin. The 1.6 gallon size fits a pretty decent amount and the material does not rip easily at all. Good to have in the kitchen to make getting rid of food waste easier.

I use these to double bag the compost in the Simple Human bags. extra security to avoid bag breakage. Very good quality

These are so fragile, it’s nearly impossible to get a bag out of the box without ripping it - and usually the next bag in line too. Check the photo… those aren’t the bunny ears you might want in bags for ease of tying, they’re rips from (gently!!) trying to get a bag off the roll. They were ordered to line a small compost bin, but are entirely useless for that. Maybe there is a use case for barely-connected strips of thin compostable plastic.. but not in our house!

These bags a just the perfect size and they are very durable as well. I like that they have ties as it makes it easier to close and secure. I will be purchasing again.
