The media could not be loaded. I do a lot of presenting style videos and before I was just memorising all my lines and then creating cuts between each mistake or forgotten line. With this, you get an easy setup teleprompter and a professional-looking end result to your video. By that, I mean you are focused on the monitor which is directly in front of the lens, therefore your eye contact is always on the camera.You will need an iPad or a cheap android tablet, so keep that in mind. I was looking for a teleprompter that was able to hold my iPad pro was a difficult task and most teleprompters would start well over five hundred pounds. I have quite a few Newer products, so I trust their quality. The remote is easy to use and allows you to adjust the scrolling speed without looking away from the camera. You can pause, start and alter things straight from the remote. This makes presenting videos so much more flawless and less time-consuming to produce.The reflection quality of the glass is great, very little visibility to what is behind the glass and the hood blocks out all rear light that could bleed through and impact the ability to read your lines. I think what sets this apart from others is its ease of use. It’s made for a one-person team. The app that goes with it is simple and nothing spectacular, but it does allow for easy inputting off text and quick starting. I am only using it in one space so I will generally leave it fully set up, however, if you find yourself being someone who needs to regularly dismantle it, you may find it to be a pain and very time-consuming.Despite this, I really do like the build quality and easy usability. I’m a one-man video team so having something like this which can be set up and left to rely on at a drop of the hat is brilliant. It has made my videos much more professional looking along with being an investment I can certainly see benefiting me in the long run.Granted the price is slightly high but when you consider the cheaper ones being near useless and the expensive ones being out of reach for the average consumer, I think a mid-range option like this at its current asking price is not bad. The app is very easy to use albeit a little basic, the build quality of the teleprompter itself is high quality and it gives your videos a really professional end result. £197 at time of reviewI’ve had this a week now and put it through it’s paces, overall I think this is a good autocue system for it’s price, if they tweaked the app that works with their remote so you could highlight individual words or sentences it would be greatI’ve used countless autocue systems over the years, usually costing 2 to 3 times as much as this, so I was interested to try this out. Over all it performed very well, if it suits your set up then I can’t really fault it, but if you find you need to adjust the height of the screen in relation to your lens position due to you having a larger camera body, then this may not work for you as easily as others, but if you’re using DSLR’s or even the majority of pro video cameras on the market then you should be OK.In use I found I lost approx 1.5 f stops, not a huge amount, but worth noting. As to lens focal length, with the camera positioned as far forward as possible I could use a 40mm lens, but any wider and I was starting to see the end of the iPad at the bottom of the screen.The hood attaches via velcro, the glass mount has a rough surface on the edge that holds the hood securely and gives everything a solid rigid feel once positioned. There’s a platform for the camera that can be slide back and forth for positioning, but if you need to adjust the height lower for your camera, then you’ll need to remove the platform and attach your camera directly to the base plate using your own quick release plate. There’s a couple of adjustable arms on either side with 3/4 female threads and cold shows for additional gear, personally I won’t use these so I just removed them and stored them away in case I ever change my mind.The remote that comes with this works with Neewer’s free app (iOS and Android, search for Teleprompter by Neewer), it’s pretty simple, but does pretty much all you need it to do, you can upload and import text from Word docs and text files etc. You can use the app without the remote, but it’s much easier with it. Only downer is that you have limited formatting capabilities, I couldn’t see how you could highlight or change the formatting for individual words (an essential in my mind for emphasis cues and handovers etc)Assembly & disassembly is relatively painless, although you do have to do it in a particular order if you want to get it all back in the supplied hard case, but once in and screws tightened nothing will move around and the screen will be protected.Hope my review was helpful

Due to the glass' outstanding reflectivity, very little can be seen through it, and the hood totally blocks any rear light that could otherwise leak through and obstruct my ability to read the lines. I believe that its ease of use sets it apart from similar items. The associated software is simple and ordinary, although it does support quick and easy text entry.Overall, although the pricing is a little high, I believe a mid-range alternative like this at its current asking price is not bad. I would recommend this one.

Bien, aunque la base para poner la tablet tiene sus limitantes, no permite poner la iPad de 12.9 con funda, por lo que se la tienes que quitar y eso implica que siendo tan lisa pudiera resbalarse, fuera de eso la app bien y los materiales y embalaje bien. Ojala hubieran puesto alguna superficie antideslizante a lo que sujeta la tablet, para darle más estabilidad, al final una tablet de 12.9 vale 10 veces más que el producto y es primordial para que funcione.

This is the teleprompter that I was looking for to complete my studio. It is well built and lightweight. Very clear resolution from the screen and no interference with the camera recording. I use a Sony ZV-E10 with a Sigma 16mm lens and it first into this teleprompter perfectly. I don’t know how the Neewer software works as I use Prompt+ on my iPad and just reverse the view in the app. It lets me then use voice scrolling and everything works seamlessly. Great value for the price!
