Perfect for anyone learning tarot!
Really helped me learn my means of my tarot cards before I started practicing! Super informative with everything I wanted to know! Such a great book for beginners! It helps that the book is super cute too! It’s also great to go back and reference! Throw some sticky notes on the important pages to look back to!

Great Starting Point
A great starting point to tarot cards/reading. This book does a very comprehensive job of initiating the reader to tarot; without all the fluff. I’d definitely recommend it. I’m not crazy about the layout, but the information is nonetheless solid.

Cute, but not good for beginners.
Like others have said, the book is cute, but that's no reason to give it a five star review. The content is sorely lacking. I can't say anybody should expect much better from a book this short, really. But the little booklet that came with my tarot deck gave me better information! No reversals? That's a "myth"? The author isn't wrong that buying your own tarot deck being unlucky is a myth. That's true, but reversals are a myth? Then why do so many readers use reversals in their readings? Again, even the little booklet that came with my deck included reversed meanings.Oddly, there wasn't much to help a new reader really learn tarot. The short instructional sections gave surprisingly little good information about how to interpret cards or even what the best way to pose the question might be. There are some examples with lengthy descriptions of the stories of the supposed clients, but that doesn't really help somebody figure out the best means to ask their questions in the first place. This was an unfortunate waste of money. If you're a fresh out-of-the-box reader, I would highly suggest skipping this book and getting something else. This won't help you learn.

Very Useful for Easy Reference
Enjoyed this in a hardcover so much that I bought it on my Kindle for easier reference. The writing is conversational and the card descriptions allow you to associate them to any tarot card deck that follows Rider Waite.

Love
I love the quality of this book. It’s a hardback. Pages feel a little thinner than regular books but I think it adds to the aesthetics. I was a little disappointed by the content. While it’s broken down nicely it’s probably not the best book for a true beginner at least not without another book to accompany it.

lots of great information in a small book!
I ordered this book for my daughter. I have been interested in tarot for 14 years & own over 5 dozen books. And this book is in my top five favorites. It is a small easy to read book but the information inside is invaluable.I have been doing pretty much the same layout since I first began reading the cards & since reading Cassandra Eason's "A little bit of Tarot" I have been doing different spreads. Her book is straight forward & the information is presented in a clear simple manner which I enjoy very much. The book took about 3 or 4 days to arrive & was well packaged. If you are overwhelmed at the number of books out there & are unsure of which one to buy this is the book for you!

This is a good book if you just want a very light course on Tarot but if you have any plans of getting deep into tarot, i wouldn't suggest this book. But for those just wondering what Tarot is and if its for you, this book is great for that.

Arrived on time, the book itself is exactly what I wanted. The only reason I am giving a 4 star instead of a 5 is some cosmetic damage. The front of the book was incredibly marked up, however I can still read it, so it served its purpose :)

Great for beginners
It's a great choice for beginners, though I advice looking for other meanings to the cards online to have a better understanding of what they mean.
