My dog eats it right up, but I don’t see any effect 🤷‍♀️ Says it’s for 20 pound dog , mines a lot smaller 🤷‍♀️

It keeps my dogs calm while I am at work for 12 hours.

These had the OPPOSITE affect for my dog he became overly anxious , wouldn’t settle , never napped a single time like he usually does. Started hallucinating (scared barking at things that were not there, he was terrified). And best of all? It’s not returnable !!! My bad for not checking before ordering. So unhappy. And so is my sweet Finn.

I've been getting these for my Fur Baby for a couple of years now. And they truly work for him.

I got these at my vet’s advice to treat my chiweenie’s seasonal alopecia. They’re way less than the RX version he was going to prescribe and are the exact same dosage. The other advantage is that these are beef flavored chewables rather than regular pills I would have had to stick down his tiny throat. The only negative is that he doesn’t really like the taste. This is weird because he will eat literally anything. Now I just chop it up and mix it with his kibble and he doesn’t notice. I deducted one star for taste. He just started taking them about a week ago so I’m hoping they’ll help him grow his leg and belly hair back with continued use.

This is great for calming our German Shepherd. What makes us come back to this product is because the dog will eat them out of our hand. We have tried other meds by hiding the meds in food, but she always manages to spit them out. Finally, the price is reasonable.

This product is inherently good, but not good in practice. Melatonin for Dogs is meant to make them drowsy and then eventually fall asleep. That is, if your dogs come to enjoy the pills, mine did not. They are marketed as beef-flavored, so I tried one myself to see if my dogs would enjoy them. Nonetheless, they taste okay; they aren't really good, but stretching the point and marketing them as beef-flavored is an overstatement. I have smaller dogs, so I would split the pill in half and hide it in their food. With training, I was able to put it in their favorite snacks and treats. The bottle stenches the moment you open it, which is a negative response from me, but my dogs seem to find the odor well. This was until they actually tasted the pill. I am not really aware of the ingredients inside the melatonin, but I believe they are okay because they are marketed as "Vitamin." A common side effect my dogs experienced was drowsiness, but not sleepiness. They just shut down a little. This was typically enough for them to fall asleep, but they noticeably stopped barking and just calmed down. My dogs didn't find much pleasure in the pills, which is why I would hide them in their food. They didn't have any changes in their stools, so that's a green flag regarding digestibility. But in general, I wouldn't recommend these pills to the general public. If you need your dogs to shut down a little at night, this is a good purchase. However, I wouldn't recommend this product for them to fall straight asleep. But if you are concerned about your dog's health or the side effects of these pills, I would purchase them and take them to your local vet.

I have two young, VERY crazy and wild puppies—a Jack Russell and a Husky—so I got these hoping they might help calm the nighttime chaos and let the household sleep for more than an hour at a time. 😂 Both of my dogs will happily chew the tablets without any issues. I can’t say there’s a major odor to them, but to be fair, I’m also not sticking my nose in the bottle and sniffing the pills because…well, I’m just not going to. 😂 And I definitely won’t be chewing one myself to report on the mouthfeel or texture! As far as size and appearance, they’re small white tablets, no bigger than a regular human Advil or Tylenol tablet. Both dogs seem to like them and actually get excited now when they see me grab the bottle (pictured). They do seem to help calm some of the chaos and make it easier for my pups to settle down for the night. I haven’t given them every single night, but on the nights I have, neither dog has had any stomach upset or other noticeable issues. My only complaint is that I wish the dosage/distribution chart on the bottle were a little easier to read at a quick glance. If you actually stop and read it, it’s simple enough to understand. But I’ll admit, sometimes I’m a quick-glance reader…so there’s that. 😂 Overall, these have worked well for my two little agents of chaos. They happily take them, they seem to help them settle down, and we’ve had no issues so far.

The effect last about 3hrs for my small dog 3kg. Now have to find other alternative to solve the dog waking up and walking around in middle of night

Love this for my dog so much cheaper than other places a lot of people are unaware that human melatonin tablets can be toxic to dogs these are specifically manufactured for dogs no harmful additives for our canine friends.

If I could give this zero stars I would. Trialled this product for 2 weeks now at the appropriate dosage for my 55kg dog. This product does absolutely zero and has no effect. In fact I think it makes her more energetic and restless. Here is a photo of my dog yawning after barking all night. Do not recommend.
