Question 1

Would this potting mix work for bougainvillea or do u have another that would work better? It keeps popping up as first recommendation when searching.

Accepted Answer

Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out to Perfect Plants. Bougainvillea doesn't like to remain wet for too long and can get root rot in heavy soil. They like gritty, loose soil. Although this potting mix wouldn't hurt them I would recommend using our Organic Potting Mix instead.

Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns.

Best,
Melissa

Question 2

Will this soil wor for jade plants too?

Accepted Answer

Hello and thank you for reaching out! This soil may work fine for a jade plant since money trees and jade plants both prefer well-draining soil. However, the Succulent & Cactus Soil would work best for a jade plant. The Organic Succulent Soil is specially formulated for succulents like a jade plant, to include a correct mix of ingredients like peat moss and coarse sand that will help your jade plant thrive. Here is the Succulent and Cactus soil if you would prefer this for your jade plant: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07BHPJT5R/ref=twister_B07N7KY9D8?_encoding=UTF8&th=1

Accepted Answer

Hi there,

You can use this potting soil for any indoor plant, it won't harm them. The only difference is that this specific soil is catered to Money Trees and the nutrients they like best.
