I own the Tenpoint Nitro 505 and they advertise to shoot only 400 grain plus arrow set-ups in this crossbow. That said I purchased three 6pks of the 20-inch Dragon Carbon arrows with the idea of having practice arrows that are much more affordable than the Tenpoint centerpunch arrows and that will meet the recommended requirements. I went ahead and purchased a pack of the Tenpoint aluminum bushings along with the alpha knocks and got a weight of 503 grains with a 125-grain broadhead that I like for hunting. After setting up 2 practice arrows and being totally satisfied with their performance out in the range I went ahead and purchased the Tenpoint Alpha Blaze knocks to set these up also for hunting. Totally satisfied with the Alpha Blaze Knocks, I was able to group these arrows at 90 yards within an inch of each other using a 125-grain field point, wohooooo :)

They were what I was looking for but a bit too small of an interior. I ended up drilling the opening and it worked.

I was extremely dissapointed with Ten Point Archery when it comes to changing the shaft diameters for every other generation of arrow they produced. Finding the info necessary to order the proper inset is not readily available on any websites when making this purchase. I had to waste time and money to buy an additional set of .297 inserts for my arrows because the .300 were too big. I probably will no longer buy any Ten Point products in the future due to the poor customer service related to these products.

Put on my evo x arrows.alpha nocks and aluminum inserts. .297 inside diameter.Highly recommended.
