Does anybody know where I can go to get instruction to put the track together?

Putting two tracks together for a longer track is real easy. Insert the rail connectors into the combined tracks use a straightedge alongside the tracks to keep them in line and tighten up the rail connector screws. I find leaving a business card space between the rails aids in the alignment

Do you have to clamp the guide rail for cutting

In general I would say no need to clamp the rail guide. I got clamps just in case and have yet to use them and yet to have the rail slip on me. The nonslip back works, and the saw glides smoothly on the rail under it so there is no tendency for the rail to move.

Does the kit come with extra set screws?

Yes it did. Make sure you purchase two connector kits. They come only as one and you will need the two to sufficiently hold the rails stable.
