Does It All
Works as advertised in a QNAP M3216R-8S8T switch. Had to do a simple reboot after the initial installation, and it's been fine since March of 2024. Unit is on 24/7. Gets close to rated speed and steady transfer of large backup images (30-68GB) on my 10GbE copper network with nvme ssds at each end. Insertion fit is easy, yet snug. Locks easily. Barely warm to the touch, not hot like many other SFP+ modules. Quite pleased with it... will purchase more as the network expands.

Revised review - stable with Fortinet S648 SFP+ ports
I had previously written the review below. By default the SFP+ port is set for "set speed auto-module" which yields poor results as referenced. Changing the port config to "set speed 10000cr" makes the unit FAR more stable. It may not be quite as good as the $200+ Fortinet version, but it's staying stable and transferring at over 5Gbps with no packet loss, making this a great value. ----------------------------------------------- Network link drops for 15+ seconds multiple times per hour under light to moderate load (<200Mbps.) This happened with two separate modules, on two separate switches, using two separate 25' Cat6 network cables, and plugged into 2 separate NICs. I created an active LACP team and it's slightly more reliable, but still 2-3% packet loss, which isn't acceptable.

Works with UDR7
Works with Ubiquiti Dream router 7. Does not run too hot. Plug and play. 3rd one I tried. Only one that worked.

No issues in atrendnet switch, and connecting to 10gtek/intel x510 nic
Works fine in trendnet 2.5g/10g switch and connecting to a 10gtek x510 pcie card in a windows pc

Out of four, one failed less than a year in.
Bought four of these about a year ago. Out of the four, one failed on me. Luckily I only really needed three and one was just for swapping in case it fails. I'd only trust these with actual Omada equipment. I am running the four of them on a TPlink TL-SX3008F and all four of them are compatible with it. Speed wise - I get the full speed from it. Running Wifi 6 Omada APs and I max them out. I can't complain that it's compatible with my setup. I would prefer some feedback when I plug in and hear the click from my ethernet going in when I connect it. I'll have to see what TP link support says about warranty on this.

Awesome use to utilize an SFP port as RJ-45
I'm running low on available RJ-45 ports on my TP-Link 28-port Switch TL-SG1428PE. (26 RJ-45, 2 SFP) "Hey, I could use one of those empty SFP ports on the TP-Link switch, install an SFP card in my NAS, and be good". Money, two generic SFP cards for the QNAP NAS, and hours later still unsuccessful. This module converted the SFP port on the switch into an RJ45 port in about 10 seconds of effort. Yes I'm using cat6 instead of DAC or fiber but the port conversion at $19 should have been my very first and only step.

Does SFP things
Uh pretty easy review its an SFP it does SFP things, if you are looking at SFPs you know what they are and why you'd need one... or two.. or maybe 20...idk it just works zero complaints thus far.

Runs hot then dies
I think the market for 10GBase-T is a bit premature. I've tried several vendors of these SFP+ modules and when they work, they work for a short period of time and then dies. This particular device failed after 3 days of operation. When I removed the SFP from its cage, it was very hot and I was seeing several DDM log captures that the SFP was failing. Although interesting for use cases that have Cat6(a) already in place, I suggest avoiding 10GBase-T altogether. At least for now. And for those that are going to attempt to get 10G to their host devices on Cat6(a), these device add a bit of latency. Just sayin..... up to you to try but for me any 10GBase-T I try will be Enterprise grade only going forward. If I even want to revisit this.

Excellent sfp+ transivers
In general the sfp+ works great, they are running a bit hot in my switch. My one has a low voltage warning (DDM) after contact tp support any divination of 20milivolt is fine. I am happy .

استخدمتها مع TP-ER7206 خلتني اسخدم ال SFP موديول ... و النتيجة ان السرعة وصلت لأقصى حد إستجابة الراوتر و الكنترولر بقت رهيبة و ال GUI بقى بيفتح على طول بدون اي تأخير السبب ان ال SFP موديول منفصل داخليا في الراوتر عن وحدات ال Rj45 و بالتالي كإني مشغل جهازين منفصلين في جهاز واحد ال Latancy لا يزيد عن 3 ملي ثانية في اقصى تحميل مع STC Fiber 300 ياريتني اشتريتها من زمان والله
