CCTV grade, professional
Reliable item for a good value. Used in professional CCTV system, and i have no issue with it whatsoever for now.

Used item supplied - has 2368hours on it.
I was suspicious when the drive arrived in non-antistatic bubble wrap. Nevertheless, I proceeded to install it an power on my system (UDM Pro). I was shocked to see that it had already been running for 2368 hours - this is not a new drive. Item returned.

Not fit for purpose
Connected the the hard drive to the dvr the drive started to star up and spin . It then started to make a scratching sound, Also wouldnโt recognise the hard drive. I then put back in my old hard drive and it worked just fine

DRIVE FAILED WITHIN MONTHS / NO PRE PAID RETURN
I purchased 4 drives and 2 failed in 4/5 months WD do not even send a pre paid label for their faulty product.

This pairs well with Unifi Dream Machine and other NVRs out there
Very reliable drive, I use these with the Ubiquiti Dream Machine, they come in different storage capacity, 10 Terabytes is what the website recommends for the Dream Machine that is why I got this one. They are very easy to use and come with no formatting from the factory. I also have 2 of these drives as storage drives on my computer and so far it has not ran very hot meaning that they can be air cooled without any issues. Great value for the money spent

Working well after 1 year
I've been running this writing video footage non-stop for almost 18 months from multiple cameras out of a UnFi Dream Machine. It's working great - not much more to say!
