AC Compressor Clutch Bearing Replacement for NSK 35BD219DUM A/C

If you're going to replace the bearing in a ac clutch pulley in a first gen xterra/frontier, know this, DO NOT pry the ac clutch with screwdrivers. You will ruin it. I ruined two trying to do it the wrong way. Remove the compressor and use the proper tools. A slide hammer will likely work best. One you have the clutch off, press the old bearing out. Put the pulley in the oven at 350 for 10 minutes, put the bearing in the freezer for at least an hour. The bearing will literally fall completely in place in the pulley because of the temp difference. Reassemble it all, add some oil, pull a vacuum for an hour, add freon. Done.I replaced my drier as well right behind the grill.All in all, bearing is perfect for the old style dkv14c with the three round springs on the front of it.

This fits 2003 Xterra. Most online places reference a different part which is incorrect. This is the right piece.This bearing was a cheap and an effective way to fix a squeaking AC pulley. I didn't have to remove the compressor or drain the refrigerant. I used Autozone rental tools to remove the pulley, then a hammer to knock out the old bearing. Froze the new bearing in the freezer and heated the pulley in the oven. The new bearing dropped into place without using a bearing press. The whole job took less than 3 hours from start to finish.

Worked fine in the beginning until weather in Florida got a little cooler. 65 degrees. Then it started making noises. Pulled it back off and repacked the bearings... working fine.

Perfect size for my factory compressor on 2003 Dodge Dakota 6 cyl. Bit of a hassle getting the old one out without a press but if your creative you'll figure out a way to do it. No issues with this product at all. Appears to be of good quality. Been running it a few months now and havn't heard any noise out of it.
