Ordered several of these and the top portion doesn't quite fit. It buckles up a little and such a thin strip to hold it in place. Will rip very easy but only case that would fit a Chromebook. So not many options. Also within months it breaks and falls apart.

So the good - It protects the tablet from fall damage and scratches, something that the included magnetic plate and the keyboard from HP do not offer. And that's about where it ends. The bad - Very difficult to handle and use the edge gestures for Chromebook due to the flimsy fit. It seems like they tried so hard to make sure you could still connect the keyboard that they forgot about the fact that this is a tablet. Impossible to use the fingerprint scanner as it is too recessed. And even if you try to slide the tablet as tight as possible against that side on the case, it is still not level enough to get a good read. Because the part that holds the tablet in place is thinner that the outer shell, it moves around when you hold it, making it difficult to have a secure grip and increasing the likelihood that you will drop it or at least put it down in frustration. This case makes writing with the pen and touch navigation tedious... so it takes away the advantage of it being a tablet.

It barely fits, quite loose, and is made of such cheap material, I would be surprised if it lasted a month. Pure junk. I'll be returning it tomorrow.

This is Dollar Tree level quality. Shame on Amazon for putting this dreck on its platform for purchase. Received, unpackaged and requested refund within 20 minutes.
