This is good stuff!
I put one of the tablets in my 45 gallon tank with six small freshwater fish while I went on vacation. Seven days later it was completely gone and all my fish were alive and well. I recommend!

Works
Kept our fish alive while we were on vacation!

Waste of money
Ok so I would not recommend. They make the water cloudy and the release time is garbage. I decided to try these out before leaving for vacation and good thing I did bc they are not gonna keep your fish fed or alive after a day or so.

not for goldfish
we were going on a 5 day trip out of town and got these for our goldfish tank - tried it the day before and a couple of the goldfish went to investigate - one of them ate the whole block and later passed away from it while it is a great value for the money - recommend putting it somewhere the fish can't get to it

Kept the fish alive
These feeders worked great kept all of our fishes alive and three tanks We even split them in half because we don't have very many fish in each tank I suggest you keep them hidden I have them in a plastic bag sitting on a shelf next to the aquarium so that my uncle could easily find them when he would come to feed the fish in the middle of our vacation and one of the cats got a hold of it and chewed it up so they can smell it so be aware I would definitely order these again

Smaller then I thought
I guess I have greedy fish. It did not last a weekend. They ate it in a few minutes and was looking for more.

Easy to use; Fish love them; Don't leave a residue; Decent price; Snails-be-gone!
I like these fish feeders so much better than the white chalky ones that seem to always leave a white residue in the tank. I break a single 'feed cake' into about 5 or 6 pieces and drop them in different spots so that fish can easily feed on them wherever they are. They ARE slow release, so the food itself is dispersed over a period of many days. I have five guppies, two neon tetras and two algae eaters, so one of these feed cakes lasts about 10 days. An added bonus is that, if you have unwanted snails like I do, you will find them collected on whatever chunks are still left over, and just 'fish' those snails right out of the tank when you get home.

Best block for weekends away
It’s not worth buying those white feeders, we find they have left the water murky and we have had some casualties. We have been using the Tetra feeders for at least 10 years. It’s good how it slowly feeds flakes into the water or the fish nibble the block. If you don’t have a full tank of fish we cut the block in half.

Received damaged
I received it damaged. It was squeezed into a small box in a very bad way and the funny part is I can't request a return or a refund
