The original pillow we received was great!The fabric is pretty soft without a pillowcase, and the pillow is just the right balance of squishy yet supportive...like laying on a cloud (mom & dad like it, too) . It arrived quickly, and there was no weird or particular smell when unpacking it, either. The initial wash was quite a success, with easy care instructions, and the pillow maintaining its original softness, fluffiness, and form.The only issue was that it was just a bit too fluffy for our little one. She liked lounging on it, but would roll off of it before falling asleep. She is quite little, so we reached out to the company to see how we might be able to receive a less-fill pillow instead. Their customer service is absolute outstanding! They responded quickly and were so kind and caring about our family's needs. Within two days of working out the details, the new pillow arrived with a sweet personalized note included. And it's the perfect size for our toddler! She sleeps on it all the way through the night. We bought this pillow for our 5 year old who was getting too big for the toddler pillow we had, but was too small to use even a flat standard-sized pillow. I read many MANY reviews before settling on this one, and I'm glad I did. The first pillow that got delivered was damaged (there was a hole on the side of the pillow about 1 1/2" - 2" long where the stuffing was able to fall out). Through that hole, I was able to see and feel the stuffing, and I can confirm, it is soft and fluffy. I contacted the Little Sleepy Head Pillow Company directly through their website about the issue, and they emailed me back within a couple of days to get more details. The company mailed me a new pillow right away, which arrived in perfect condition. My daughter has now been loving sleeping on it for the past month and a half. The youth pillow is exactly the right height for her. It washes well in the washing machine and dries up fluffy. We also fluff the pillow at night before she goes to bed, and in the morning, it still has good volume. We have been super happy with this pillow and I have to say the 5 star rating is for both the quality of the product itself and the 5 star customer service.

These pillows are amazing!!! My toddler had been sleeping on his stuffed animal, so I knew he was ready for a pillow, but I was reluctant to give him one because I was afraid it would be too thick, and suffocation risks, etc. Plus they always say no pillows, blankets, etc when you bring your baby home from the hospital, and knowing when to finally incorporate them feels uncertain and scary! This is the PERFECT "first pillow" for your little one. I was even worried at first that it would be a little too thick, and contacted them. They responded immediately and sent me another, which was less full, and eased my anxiety. Im sure the first one would have been perfectly fine, but I was just nervous, with it being his first pillow. The pillow itself is very high quality and perfect! My husband travels for work and said he wants one now! The perfect size to pack and so comfortable! So glad I came across this company and will be buying from them again! Highly recommend!

I needed to get a couple pillows for my 3 and 7 year old children quickly after a washing machine run completely deformed their existing pillows. These seemed to be good quality and safe for the kiddos along with being washable. I had to stick to a budget in which these were a good fit for the features. The kids had regular sized pillows so these were smaller significantly, but they still fit just fine in the pillow cases. They are so much softer and fluffier than their previous pillows that the smaller size is not bothersome. I have not had a chance to wash these yet; that will be the big test. I suppose I should submit another review at that point :-)

It’s the perfect pillow, they are small but she’s been sleeping better at night and she tells me how comfortable they are!Only thing is, it’s hard to find pillow cases for this size pillows, but even without a pillow case, the pillow feels so soft and cool!

I was in the market for a pillow for my toddler and I wanted something organic. This pillow is the perfect size for her and is so soft and fluffy. I put it in her bed and she was so excited to sleep with it. I highly recommend this if you're looking for a toddler pillow.
