This small business knows what matters most! I tried all 3 flavors of David’s toothpaste and the strawberry watermelon was the only one acceptable by my nearly 3yr old. I bought for both myself and her to try and see if they are as effective or more than traditional fluoride pastes and to my surprise I prefer the nano hydroxyapatite mixture. David’s is MORE effective for cleanliness than traditional options and makes teeth smooth and fresh feeing. I love that it has natural ingredients and does not cause any sensitivity for either of us. It foams a little more than regular but less than high peroxide options. These statements are true IMO for all 3 flavors I tried. The orange flavor was refused by my little one (who loves oranges) and had some spiciness to it. I know she doesn’t like minty anything so didn’t attempt that one for her, although that’s my favorite.

I love this toothpaste. As I aged, my mouth became sensitive anything that had SLS (sulfates) such as in chewing gum and many other toothpaste. I tried other brands, but Davids seemed to be perfect for me. I also like the packaging. It is clean, simple and that you don't use extra harsh chemicals, and the tubes are not plastic. My teeth feel clean, mouth is fresh, and my dentist said that my teeth were so clean that she had to do very little cleaning at my last appointment! I like the list that notes what makes Davids toothpaste so good. Please never stop making it!

I have been using David's toothpaste for a couple of months now and I'm very pleased with it. My teeth are noticeably smoother-feeling and plaque build up is a lot less. Possibly a bit whiter as well. It's very gentle on the gums and all the flavors I've tried so far (4) are decent. The spearmint flavor is a bit intense, but I'm very sensitive to peppermint so others may not experience it that way. The herbal citrus mint flavor is even more intense (has peppermint); but okay if you like peppermint. The strawberry-watermelon one is very nice; a delicate fruit flavor and not too sweet. Orange vanilla is an interesting flavor; a little odd at first, but it grew on me and now I quite like it. Taste is such an individual thing; best to try them out. The tubes are metal, so you might want to order a metal key to wind up the tubes as you use them (they don't come with them anymore). Makes it easier.

Well I would leave 5 stars however I’m a bit skeptical if I received the real product or a counterfeit knock off version. I ordered last year, loved it, ordered a couple weeks ago the same kind again plus a different version to try and neither tubes came with the advertised silver metal key to roll up the toothpaste. The very first time I ordered it came with in the box and now neither have it although the description says it should come with. I’m either getting a knock off David’s or am misled or they were not put into the boxes. Was I supposed to keep the very first one I ever received and reuse it with every tube? I was under the impression it gets recycled with the tube. Other than that I enjoy the quality, it cleans well, isn’t very messy at all, gives a good lather. I like it a lot. My kids do too. It’ll be hard to roll this without that little tool though.

My oral health has improved since using David's toothpaste. I discovered this toothpaste because the owner is local to my area and he came to speak to my son's Troop meeting. He gave everyone a sample. It just so happens that I was looking for a new toothpaste due to extreme tongue sensitivity (Geographic Tongue.) Not only is the toothpast a lot easier on my tongue than traditional store bought toothpaste, but it makes my teeth feel super clean. At my next hygenist appointment, she said that my gum inflamation had improved. So I'm sold! It is a little more runny that regular toothpaste, but it's manageable and worth it.

Give it a chance.This is not the same as the toothpaste I've always used. But all the other toothpastes have a lot of chemicals in them and they were bothering my mouth. Some causing allergic reactions. I tried Davids because it was on EWG, and of course at first I was unhappy. But I had to stick with it because I was having so many issues with the regular toothpaste.Davids has never caused me a problem, it cleans in a healthy way and I don't have bad breath. After using for a while you will get used to the lack of foaming and tingling. (But I think that is the stuff which is actually bad for you.) It took me a while to get used to the taste. I like the natural spearmint the best.It's more expensive but worth it. My teeth are clean and white. And I am not worried about chemicals.My dental check ups are just as good as they were with the old toothpaste. I'm happy with it and will continue to use it. But it does take a while to get used to the taste. Also to get used to not feeling that tingle after you brush. After a tube I was used to it and now I'm very happy. it's so much better for your mouth.

I really like this product. I was looking for a natural toothpaste that is both effective and safer to use than the brands you find in stores. I appreciate how well it cleans my teeth, and even my dentist commented on their condition after I finished the first tube. The tube lasts about four months, making it economical. I've tried both the peppermint and spearmint flavors, and I find both to be pleasant. For those of us who remember flattening the tubes, it's also nostalgic fun.

Love this toothpaste! My son has special needs and brushing teeth is always a challenge. This toothpaste does not burn and works great on bad breath. We’ve both been using David’s since 2018 and I’ve noticed less plaque with my son and whiter teeth for me. Also, when I try other toothpastes, like the #1 recommended toothpaste by dentists, it feels like I’m brushing my teeth with sugar. As a result, I am now sensitive to other name brands
