Does the job of saving a lot of space.
Simple and no fuss socket for a flush lamp, very useful and massive upgrade in safety for the understairs cupboard where normal bulbs will protrude and can be easily broken (exposing live parts), none of that with those sockets when assembled with their lamp it all becomes just over 1" 1/2 inch thick, very good. You can wire it on your existing installation, removing 4 little screws at the back you can pull out the copper blocks and clip in the wires. Won't accept wires bigger than 1.5mm but that would be overkill anyway, just make sure the wire ends are neatly twisted because the wire clips in without screws. It you're unsure about how they go just take a picture beforehand.

Very constricted connection
Adequate for purpose,need a junction box for cable connection because of the short lead and cannot remove and replace. Would be far better if the connection was made easier ie with terminal strip or similar.

Holder for GX 53 LED lamps takes lamps offering differing wattage and colour and low cost lighting
I have GX53 lights throughout the house, mainly white (6000 Kelvin) so assuring plenty of light at low purchase and running cost. GX53 lighting is, quite literally, brilliant!

Perfect fit for the GX53 lamps.

Too tight. Bulbs don't fit.
Way too tight! It is possible to force the bulbs in, but it's almost impossible to get them out again. Pity, because they seem well made and are study.

the cable length
make sure that the cable is long enough for what you want , I would have had to do a joint inside the cabinet which I did not fancy due to the chance of it getting disturbed when moving stuff in and out . There are GX53 bases out there with a 60cm cable not the rat tail this comes with .

Me compre unas lamparas y lo que llevava se fundio en unos dias. y como me gustaban, las lamparas, le puse estas y hasta entonces. como me tomaron el pelo los de las lamparas que compre... Eso si, tuve que adadtarlas yo, como yame a mi amigo el lampiesta me CRUJE Valla amigo. 150 euros por cambiarme un Grifo...
