Cool accessorie for my truck. It was a inexpensive way to add a little flair. It came with all kinds of mounts and screw option to ensure fitment of any size.

I bought this for my 1996 Silverado 1500. Looks great and is well made. The "bullet" unscrews from the "cartridge" which is kinda cool if you wanted to switch it out with different colors. Radio reception is still really good. It comes with multiple adapters, but for my application I didn't have to use any of them. 💯

4 stars as it looked great but over a year and it is faded bad still looks ok but not what it was the red is now Goliath red and I absolutely get no radio stations local or other lucky for XM radio stations

Let me start by saying that the bullet-shaped antenna is one of the coolest car accessories out there. It’s sleek, it’s edgy, and it definitely makes your vehicle look like it's ready for a high-speed chase in an action movie. But, like any good action hero, it has its flaws. I was initially thrilled to install this bad boy on my truck. However, the excitement was short-lived. The sleek black finish that made it look so menacing when I first got it has faded to a dull gray. I’m not sure if it’s the sun or the rain, but the color definitely didn’t hold up as promised. As for the reception? Well, let's just say it’s a bit of a one-hit wonder. I can now proudly tune into a single radio station. Good thing for me is that it's the only station I listen to anyway. I also use a Bluetooth adapter that connects to a radio frequency and using that is now a BREEZE since I never have to look for a frequency to use. In conclusion, if you’re looking for an antenna that makes your car look like a secret agent’s ride and you don’t mind only ever hearing one radio station (or just don’t listen to the radio), this antenna is for you. But if you were hoping for a stylish way to improve your radio reception, you might be better off with a more traditional option. At least then, the only thing fading away would be your car’s paint job, not its radio functionality.

With the various adapters, we finally figured out which worked best on a 2001 Mustang, not too hard should fit a WIDE variety of vehicles. There's not really any part that you can put a wrench on, as the base of the antenna is purely round. If you attempt to put pliers onto it, you'll scratch the paint of the main body. In fact, accidentally dropped it onto pavement, and the pavement even scratched some of the black paint off. We'll have to see how well it holds up, but otherwise, does function as an antenna and can still receive stations.
