Takes some tweaking but overall great filament
This is an updated review after using 1/2 kilo. My first review for this filament wasn't exactly glowing but after working with it and getting the settings dialed in I've come to really like this filament. I initially complained about the flexibility of this filament but I'm not complaining anymore. This is some insanely tough stuff, once you get the settings dialed in this stuff is insane. While dialing in the settings for this filament I used a single wall calibration box file to tweak things, the final box was absolutely indestructible. This stuff created a single wall open top box that I could not crush or delaminate with anything outside of a bench vise. That same box run in Ovation filament was capable of being destroyed with bare hands, not this stuff. It literally took crushing it in a vise to destroy it and even then it simply crumpled instead of delaminating or snapping. I've now printed multiple thin walled prints with this stuff and I have zero fear that they will break or delaminate. I'm not a huge fan of how shiny this stuff is but I'll overlook the shine for the level of strength this filament displays. I'm still getting a fair amount of ringing on prints, I've altered settings left and right trying to eliminate that but it's been a no-go so far. Again, it's something I'm willing to overlook for the strength of this filament. While the listing here gives a minimum bed temp for adhesion the box states it's capable of being printed on a dead cold bed. I've found that to be untrue and it does need at least a temperature of 55°C to adhere properly. It seema to like a fairly high temperature on the hot end, 190°C, to run dependably but I've experienced zero issues with clogging of feeding and I'll happily run that hot to get the toughest prints I've ever made. Overall great stuff and another Sunlu product that makes me more of a fan of Sunlu than I already was. This stuff will be my go to structural filament as long as Sunlu produces it.

The filament is easy to print with and produces smooth, high-quality prints.
Starting off, I bought this filament because of it's affordable price tag, and almost no other reason. I was looking for ok filament for a great price, but what I got was far from that. First impressions where good, it shipped fast and came tightly sealed in a vacuum bag with an adequately sized discant packet unlike some other cheap filaments I've purchased. I first measured the diameter of the filament in about 20 different spots and found that it was within spec, also, unlike some other cheap filaments. I then began printing some test prints to test for moisture and found that it was good. Not only did the prints come out exactly how they should, they came out beautiful and bed adhesion was reliable and strong. At normal speeds this filament produces great results however at higher less reasonable speeds it still produces a "Usable print". Compared to some other filaments I've used this Sunlu PLA did very good at super high printing speeds. This is definitely high quality filament and a great value. The most pronounced benefit I can highlight about this filament vs some other cheap alternatives is that the bed adhesion is great. Many cheap filaments have terrible bed adhesion due to a variety of factors. Overall I'm pleased with this filament and could not find any major flaws in my spool.

Great value, solid print quality, just looked a little messy out of the box
Picked up two rolls of SUNLU filament — Matte Olive Green and Cream White — and I’m happy to say both print great. No clogs, no dirty spots, just solid consistent results on both colors. The finishes look awesome too — the green has a clean, subtle matte look and the cream white comes out looking smooth and sharp. Now, here’s the weird part. Both rolls showed up looking like they’d been partially unwound and rewrapped by hand. About 30 feet of each spool was kind of loose and definitely not the tight, machine-wound look I’m used to seeing from SUNLU. No idea if it was a slip during packaging or if something got cut and spun out, but it stood out. Thankfully, once I got past the loose part, everything printed just fine. No quality issues, no under-extrusion, nothing. And for the price? $18 for the green and $15 for the cream white, that’s a killer deal for filament that performs this well.

Great Filament for Miniatures!
Been using this with my Bambu A1 Mini and its one of the best for printing with a 0.2mm nozzle. Perfect prints every time for miniatures.

VERY good PLA
EXCELLENT PLA - This is the best I've ever used. Inexpensive and is wound very cleanly on the spool, so it never tangles.

SUNLU Macaron PLA Meta 2KG
Colori pastello ben resi e superficie liscia. Ottima scelta per oggetti decorativi e prototipi. Difetti: resistenza termica sempre limitata come ogni PLA. 👉 Semplice, affidabile, estetico.

BBB - buena calidad y acabado

Stampa fluida, omogenea e facilissima.
