A stretchy fabric. It’s very comfortable to wear. The only negative is the Velcro straps don’t hold well at night, so I simply put some tape around it and slip the brace on and off. I find the brace very comfortable, adjustable and effective. The metal stay can be easily bent to fit comfortably. Good value for the money.

Will it work for thumbs?

It may work but ideally it's long and suits the index, middle and ring fingers.

can you lift weights with this on? thx all!

I don't think it would be possible as it keeps the finger straight. I would be leary of a good grip.

does it go on and off easily?

Yes. The velcro straps are pretty thick so it’s gonna be secure, fit it to your finger and then it can slide on and off easily.
