Nespresso Essenza Mini Espresso Machine, 20.3 ounces, Black

I bought this as a gift for my mom. She uses it every day. It performs well, is fast, easy to use and doesn’t leak. The frother is totally worth to bundle with it - it’s a game changer. It was a little pricey, but it also was the cheapest bundle I found at the time for this exact machine. It also is compact which is what I was looking for since she doesn’t have much counter space - it fits perfectly. The box did come neaten up and showed exactly what it was, which is more of a shipping issue. Luckily, people around me don’t seem to steal packages.

The coffee machine is easy to use. Very compact, does not take up much space. You can make coffee for three people at once. You can only put a small cup on the stand, and since I like to drink from a large one, it has already fallen several times 😏. That's why I remove the cup stand when I brew coffee. The coffee machine is noisy, but it doesn't annoy me. Aeroccino Milk Frother works great. Easy to clean. Whether you get airy foam from milk depends on the quality of the milk.

I'm a total amateur to espresso and this was perfect for me. I wanted this model so I could use third party pods and it's been great! Super easy to take pieces apart to clean, it's perfectly sleek and small on my counter, and quick!! The milk frother is AMAZING and exactly what I was hoping for. The espresso machine takes barely 30 seconds from turning on to being ready to brew. The milk frother takes about 1 minute to fully heat/froth the max amount of milk. The cold setting works great, too! 2 shots espresso and a cup of frothed oat milk is the perfect amount to fill my 20oz cup to the brim! I honestly don't have picky taste and I like sweet drinks so my daily coffee is some caramel + chocolate drizzle in the bottom of my cup, either Starbucks Blonde pods or target's Good&Gather Colombian pods, and Oatly Oat milk! I think its the perfect drink and after being a $6 day dutch bros drinker- this has saved me so much money in the long run! Definitely recommend this for a good cup of coffee!

Yumm! That is all I can say! It works great. The espresso is awesome. I do not even need to add anything. It even made the pretty flower pattern in the crema. It is also small enough to be convenient for small spaces. I also made a full size coffee by running the water through the same capsule 3 times and it was still a good cup of joe. ( at this point not espresso) It is easy to use and the fact that it comes with a frother for capuccino is a bonus! All you need to have a home barista!

First of all, this is expensive but moreso the coffee pods are expensive. And coffee selection is limited. Yes, all true if you buy from Nespresso. Don't do that. Buy from a place like Fresh Roasted Coffee and you have a better selection of good coffee for less cost (50 cents/pod). Note that each pod makes a very small volume of coffee, so you're talking three pods per serving. Three pods at $1-$2 each makes an expensive mug of coffee, but at 50 cents each it becomes quite reasonable and better than what you could buy at a coffee shop. Yes, the good coffee selection makes it comparable to some coffee shop drip coffees or even Americano. I have not been brave enough to try this as an espresso with froth - don't know if it will be strong enough. For travel, this is excellent! I plan to use in my RV. Small space, QUICK good coffee (also means low power draw), and easy contained trash and cleanup! Beautiful for that use case. I want to figure how to re-use the pods which sounds messy, but just keeping used pods in a zip-lock bag is easy while traveling. As a primary coffee maker I would say still too expensive per mug. I have an espresso machine for everyday home coffee. I added my notes on the coffee pod varieties that came with the machine (see pic), but advise looking at Fresh Roasted Coffee pods for Nespresso - Italian Toast and Drago flavors were good for me.

This is our second Nespresso machine. It works great, as does the milk frother. It’s also nice that it comes with some pods to try. That’s new since we had our previous machine (yes, their machines used to come with nothing) in the early 2010’s. I’m happy to see it’s still a great machine. The $20 coupon that comes with the machine, however, does not work. I tried it multiple ways after registering our machine and it gave me the same error. Calling Nespresso customer service wasn’t much help: their system couldn’t see my machine’s registry and therefore they couldn’t do anything. Same song, same dance as before. 13 years ago, with our first machine, we encountered similar problems with their customer service and ordering which led us to abandon it completely. I had hoped after so much time, attention, and a fairly robust media campaign that they had fixed these issues. Apparently not. However, now that so many companies make compatible pods, I don’t have to go through Nespresso anymore. I’m happy to buy my coffee from a different company without the hassle. If you like espresso you’ll like this machine. It’s simple to use and makes a great latte if done right.

I purchased the Essenza Mini to "me" to use at my office. I wanted a small machine to help get me over the afternoon hump. The Essenza hasn't disappointed. I have only had it for a short period of time but so far every cup of espresso has been perfect or at least better than I ever imagined getting from a pod. It's quick, quiet, and easy to operate. It is all plastic and some parts like the water reservoir seem quite fragile. Also, the instructions are very basic and don't cover every function of the machine like holding both buttons for shut down or holding a single button for three or seconds to program the exact amount you desire. I found these watching a reviews on Youtube.

Did a ton of research on which espresso machine to buy. This one was my pick for a few reasons. Very small footprint, uses original line pods which are cheaper than newer pods, and the frother is so good! I was very surprised on how quickly the machine heats up. Highly recommend the machine + aero combo!!

after just 10 days the machine started giving out a burning smell. amazon and seller have been most unhelpful. I now have this expensive machine in its box and don't know what to do

I was hooked less than a week after I've got this, my Keurig cannot even remotely compare. And the Aeroccino is easily the best milk frother I've used, works great with almond milk!

Nespresso is my favourite coffee. Have been using the machine for 7 + years. Recently bought a new machine. There are two buttons, one for single shot espresso and another for double. But it works opposite. And the volume of coffee is too low. Didn't expect this from Nespresso.
