Q: Do you have any close ups, or instructions on how to do up the straps?

Sorry no pics.. Thread the large side on upside the bag and the small one gets looped around the Rail of the cargo carrier. Do the short ones ca ⅔ throuh the lug so you have the best hold of the strap.. ( i secured all ends with a strap of duct tape too..) Then tie down the bag with the long straps and best tie a knot right behind the lug if strap is long enough. And again duct tape may be your friend.. 😉 Have fun with the bag! I was very surprised positively of the quality.. It's very high water-resistant and the seams are very durable including the load-bearings. It hold very easily our trip from Germany to UK and tours.. roundabout 2000km (1250mls) through hard rain and british wet-weather .. Greetings from germany!

It fit perfectly on our 48” carrier. Well made, sturdy and can hold 3-4 medium size suitcases. Shouldn’t be an issue.

Q: how do we install this?

Install? This is a rectangular vinyl box. You place it into the rectangular top of your receiver.

Q: Does this block the license plate?

Yes. I had to remove my plate and zip tie it to my cargo carrier.
