Shashibo DODECA Magnetic Puzzle Cube, Stress Relief Fidget Toy

This is a great mind challenger, it creates lots of different shapes and can keep your mind busy for ages, its compact do easy to travel with it, its a good fidget toy if your fingers need something to do, it's a little on the pricey side but its really good quality, sturdy and worth the money.

My son likes his fidget toys and has been asking for one of these cubes for a while now. I bought him one as a little treat.You get one cube, but I’ve seen you can buy others and link them together to make more shapes. My son is 9 years old and you can see from the video that its a good size in his hands. The quality of the cube is good, it feels strong and well made. He’s used it for a while now and it has no damage. Some of the stapes are difficult to get to and once you do it can be a challenge to get it back to the cube shape. I guess thats the idea of it, it’s enjoyable nonetheless.The cube is great for kids who like fidget toys and it is good value for money. Recommended.

Idle hands, creative brains and inquisitive minds will all find immense satisfaction fiddling and manipulating these.It'll initially appear a bit small, but don't be put off - it opens up to a good size to feel substantial and not too awkward. The magnetic clicks and clacks are perfect for anyone who appreciates a bit of audible feedback too.It's quite strong and tough, but it is apparent of you try and force it incorrectly and shouldn't be an issue.Once you figure out the way to get back to a cube, it unlocks a lot of other ideas too. Everyone loved these this Christmas Day ages 5 up to 40.Recommended. Looks pricey over £20, but it is good quality and definitely worth it.

I must admit I was very excited about this cube. I bought two of them! I believed the hype and positive reviews. I ended up given them as a present to a 6 year old child. She will start learning geometry and math soon and I thought she might benefit from these toys. The material used is kind of cardboard/paper and like other people have mentioned the longevity of these toys can’t be very long. The quality of printing and design/patterns used are ok, nothing especial or beautiful about them. Fast delivery that’s true. About the puzzles/shapes: the magnets are strong and I can understand why people love playing with them, it’s oddly satisfying. Feels good to manipulate. Level of difficulty? Well, I am honest and describe only my own experience: Low. I am average I think. But these cubes and basic shapes and more you can achieve them intuitively in less than 30 min and I am kind of exaggerating and being generous… 10-15 minutes is all you need. Return it to the original cube shape is really EASY and straight forward too. Yes you could collect them and make more shapes… but is it worthy? I am not sure, too expensive for a very limited toy. I don’t even consider these puzzles to be completely honest. I love my Rubik cubes and never get tired of them, I love some more than others of course. And I have invested in good ones too. That’s far more fun and would recommend Rubik over this cube. Trust me I was excited about the 3D cube… such a shame!EDIT: I am delighted… I can’t believe how successful these toys are among children. I will buy it again for other kids. After observing how different children play with them I can confirm the size and the materials used are more than adequate. Difficulty level is also perfect for children, this cube invites them to try and generate geometrical shapes easily, it ignites their imagination that’s for sure! They can compete with each other, they can collect them, they can learn and study the different shapes. I am really impressed. I would say kids 5-10 years old would be fascinated by these cubes and they will feel they can achieve these little goals. Not bad after all. Still these toys are very overpriced for what they are… but we all know how pricing works, once this trend/marketing starts to disappear they will have to lower the price. It’s ridiculous… as a consumer it really annoys me.

I am new to fidgets and saw a YouTube video of a woman showing this Shashibo cube. I knew I had to have it. I searched on Amazon and this was the only product that was great. However, it is kind of expensive $35 and I got 2 but well worth the money (the vid also said the same thing). I got (red) optical illusion and the blue planet on June 14, 2021, and received it on Jun. 26, 2021. I was freaking out and played with it immediately. I couldn't let it go. It's super satisfying fidgeting with it, the colors, clicking, and the different shapes it makes. I have been playing with the red one more than the blue as it was used to make a bigger structure but found out that you don't really play with them both at the same time. When you are done with 1 shape you just add the 2nd shape to it. I have been showing this fidget to everyone. My husband hates fidgets and things that constantly make clicking noises. One time I went to church with my husband, on our way back home, we had an argument and instead of me being irrational & freaking out and yelling, I took out my fidget and started fidgeting, after he was done talking there was silence (I am still fidgeting at this point to the end of convo), I then replied in a calm, respectful, polite manner (which btw never happens, until now) to him. He looked at my fidget and said hmm, there might be a positive to this fidget. I am super happy, satisfied, and content. Fidgets are great for children/teens/ppl with anxiety and ADD/ADDHD/ADHD, stress and honestly, everyone can benefit from it with or without a disability. I just got 1 for my step-daughter and will in the future buy one for my 3 grandkids (1 coming) However, I have an OCD component to my ADD and do try my best to not buy all fidgets that I see. I do see a lot of vids with teens/children/adults having massive fidget collections, I would be careful to not go overboard with it. It is addicting for all ages. I didn't know this before till now but there is such a thing as name brand fidgets. I bought no-name ones from Amazon (China), and they don't work properly and can break. When you buy the name brand it works correctly, is more expensive, and is quality-made. There are pros and cons to all fidgets but if your child/teen needs to, they should. It helps to calm, comfort, get rid of stress and anxiety also get rid of all/most background noises/thoughts such as stimming for autism.
