Plugged in unfortunately. But worth it. It's beautiful and quiet.

Is there a way I can make more smoke appear?

If you let it sit the first time you start it then it will produce more vapor over time. After about a couple hours that should be the max output of vapor.

How do you make it stay on longer

Mine stays on for hours, just make sure you have enough water in the chamber, maybe add more water when it stops.

Does it use regular water or distilled?

Lord just pour in water to the line, place the cover back on, and push the button
