Q: What is the load capacity if hung on a vertical beam rather than a horizontal beam in the ceiling?

Thank you very much! We have not tried this way of installation. I think you can slowly increase weight to test to get the required answers.

Q: does the loop at the bottom "turn", allow swivel? or is it stuck. Basically can the bag spin around 360 degrees.

The ring is Stationary I'm sure you could loosen the nut and make it swivel

Q: Is the ring removable- does the nut holding the ring come off?

Hello, I want to tell you that the ring is removable - there is also a spring spacer in the middle of the nut that holds the ring to prevent loosening and does not fall off easily
