This is a great find for me. The drier my eyes have gotten the more the glands clog, swell, and irritate. Paired with warm heat first I’ve finally been able to deal with the problem.

Very risky to use. Potential for injury is high.

There is nothing wrong with this product and I think the manufacturer took care to make sure there were no sharp edges that might inflict damage. However, after attempting to use these, I would not recommend them as I think the potential for injury is high. These are tweezers and tweezers by their nature focus and amplify the force you put on the grips into the point where the tweezers meet. That means that even the gentlest squeeze of the grips translates to an excessive amount of force to your eyelid that, in my non-expert opinion, feels like it could cause permanent damage. I appreciate the idea and I think the product is as good as it can be, but I don't think it's a good idea to use these. However, I think these could be useful for other purposes where you need to grab something without causing indents or punctures.

Round flat ended tweezers provide smooth surface for grabbing small objects and prevents poking myself in the eye and causing injury. Of course, any metal object close to eyeballs has a potential for injury. The round shape lessens harm to the eye.

I suffer from dry eyes and occasional blocked meibomian gland. Heat and lid cleansing pads really help. This time I added in using this clamp and it really helped. Great product with very fast shipping.
