Magtec Trendline Collection Desk, Carmerino and Off White

This item arrived in awful condition in terms of the packaging. The cardboard outer box looked like it had been airdropped from above upon delivery as it was filthy and dented and torn, and all the styrofoam inside was cracked and broken, dented, torn and coming out the sides. As I opened it and the packing materials were flying out I thought for sure there would be damage to the desk pieces inside. That nothing was really damaged inside is a testament to the person who designed the protective packaging. And happily there was only one minor dent on a support board that sits in the back of the desk so, all was well. I put the desk together in about 1 hour with no problem and it looks really nice. It is very sturdy. For $300 it is a pretty decent desk from Amazon. (To be honest my expectations were already somewhat low ordering furniture from Amazon knowing it is not a high end furniture retailer.) One of the drawers does not perfectly but no one seems to notice that it is slightly off but me. The only issue I have is that I put a piece of paper on the desk with regular ink on it and when it got wet the ink stained the white top of the desk. There is now a seemingly permanent blue stain/smudge on the desk and I cannot clean it off. Maybe someone has a suggestion as to how to clean this off the white top.

Not as white as in photo, more like a pudding white, so off-white but also slightly pistachio-shaded? And it seemed the veneer was darker than I expected. I knew it wasn't real wood, and ended up not liking the "grain", but their description was accurate, I just realized I wouldn't like looking at it all day. Nothing awful but didn't match my room at that point. Also, regarding color, bear in mind could have been the lighting in my old house, too.Heavy, you'll need help with it. Came with a small chip in one of the wooden slats (I didn't open the rest up as soon as I saw the color), but considering size and weight for the shipping, the packing was adequate and the chip could easily be ignored if it's otherwise exactly what you want.

This is the first time I order a furniture piece from Amazon and I'm pretty disappointedThis product looks very beautiful and modern and was exactly what I wanted, but that was until I opened the box to find all the pieces scattered and bublewrap open (not secured around the pieces).We started assembling in a very safe zone over a carpet and took us more than an hour and a half to figure out how to assemble this thing. Luckily the pieces are numbered but it took us a while to figure that out.After we put it together, we noticed the chipped pieces and scratched surfaces. The legs looked like they took a strong hit or some monster bit on it. Even one of the big metal screws fell apart while assembling.Final verdict, not worth all that money. It's chipped in very visible places and made with a very poor quality and the packaging and handling was worst. It's really sad that this happened. I really liked how it looked in the picture :(Btw, this is my first negative review on Amazon. I just wanted everyone to be aware of this total waste of money

This desk is beautiful, and easy to assemble. I only have one issue, the desk did not properly align with the frame and for that reason I could only screw down 3 of the 4 corners. I was able to put a little Gorilla Glue under that 4th corner and it looks amazing. Aside from that one corner, the desk itself is sturdy, and well designed.

Looks great and is fairly well-crafted for the price. The only issues I have are occasionally whacking my knees against the corner of the drawers and the drawer mechanisms themselves which leave a lot to be desired. Nevertheless, it's a nice looking desk and I'm happy to own it, bruised needs notwithstanding.

Horrible. Would not recommend. Assembly took 3.5+ hours. The desktop was slightly scratched and missing some white coloring in one area. It's particle board and seems to scratch easily. I was looking for something more sturdy. I don't know why they describe it as coated w film. It is not glossy but what you would expect from fake MDF/particle board. Like the other reviewer, the holes did not line up and my husband had to drill new holes to get the top to fit on the legs on one side. Flimsy and worse than Ikea quality. Very disappointed given price. Would not recommend unless you are hoping for particle board/ikea like furniture and a lot of pieces to put together.

Awesome quality. Was a skeptical at first, but the table is sturdy and looks very elegant in minimalist spaces. Great height, drawer depth and table width, all great.One minus - comes not assembled, is not as simple as it looks when putting it together.

Very nice desk....does have a slight wobble and was a bit confusing to put together but all around sturdy and lovely piece.
