I use these as an alternative to the Dramamine chewables to treat a disequilibrium condition I picked up this last summer. It's the "standing-on-a-ship" sort of imbalance, where the ground seems to sink and rise under your feet without cause. I have it most days, but some days are worse than others, and that's when I use this.It's time to effect is about 1h, and is moderately effective over a period of about 8-10h. It's hard to tell, of course, because the disequilibrium fluctuates naturally, but that seems about right. For me, I still feel drowsy/lethargic, especially at the end of the day, and that's just on one dose, 50mg. I once took this and the Dramamine on the same day and I felt totally enervated, I was at work practically draped over a stepladder. Not drowsy or sleepy, just energyless.I will say that it seems to improve my sleep quality significantly. I sleep sooner, more soundly, and continuously on this than otherwise. However, you aren't supposed to use it for that, and I don't. Maybe I would if I were sick and wanted to knock myself out at night, but certainly not on a daily or even weekly basis.As for nausea or vertigo, I can't comment on that, as I don't use it for that purpose.Would recommend.
