I do love the cry activated feature I did not think it was gonna work but I was pleasantly surprised definitely saved me from the newborn trenches and now she has to sleep with it every night.

Succulent sound machine!
The media could not be loaded. This sound machine is so adorable!! It has a bunch of cool options like various sounds to choose from. You can switch between different colored lights or turn the light off completely. You can also see the room temp. My toddler liked recording his voice for his baby sister but we honestly didn’t need that function. At night I put the sound on the infinite mode so it stays on all night. Simple to use.Downsides: it’s a usb charger that doesn’t come with the wall brick. Also is pretty pricey.

Magical
So so thankful for this. Baby was easily comforted by music when waking up, but that requires getting to them before they got too fussy to turn on music. This does it for me and it's amazing! Only thing I would change is make a dimmer setting for the lights or a setting where you can pick a color and have only that color fade in and out

Quality of product and functionality
When I opened the package the item was used and dirty. I reached out to advise and was shipped another one to. It work. Let this manufacturer make them sorry to say I won’t buy after getting defective and dirty items for a new baby—smh

Poor sound quality on a couple of the songs
We really liked the overall concept of this soother. The only thing we didn’t like was the sound quality of a couple of the songs. It sounded staticky and muffled no matter how low we turned the volume. It’s possible it was defective so we exchanged it and we’ll see when our new one comes if the quality is better. Other than that the sounds were nice, definitely coming, I loved the variation of the sounds and songs. The lights are very pleasant as well. I’m really hoping the one we had was just defective because we really enjoyed using this for the day we had it. I love that we can control the volume on this.

A little glitchy but the baby likes it!
Our 7-month old is more aware of her surroundings and sometimes it is harder to get her to go to sleep without some sort of soothing distraction. Enter this handy "artichoke"-shaped lamp. It plays a nice tune (in addition to a variety of sounds/tunes) on a timer while providing a color-changing artichoke lamp thing. You can adjust the way the colors transition, sound volume, select the sound, and timer for the lamp/music which is nice. There is the cry activated feature that when "on" stays "on" - we haven't tried this yet because our baby tends to be pretty chill. If we need to use the cry activation, I will come back and update this review on how it went. My "con" for this lamp is that our particular lamp is a bit glitchy sometimes. Most of the time it works fine. But occasionally, it flashes quickly when transitioning between artichoke lamp colors. This glitch makes the lamp more suitable for a baby rave party, not getting relaxed for bedtime. Because the glitch happens only once in a while, I still give this lamp 5 stars and think it's worth trying out if your baby is pretty chill but gets distracted and has trouble going to sleep. For babies where it is really hard to get them to sleep, this *might* work, but I'd personally invest more in a heavy duty sound machine or shusher. We figure that if our baby stops liking this lamp, we (the parents) will enjoy using it in our room for a timed nightlight. Best of luck parents on getting your babies to sleep!!

Such a sweet little soother
The media could not be loaded. This little succulent lamp made me smile when I saw it. I love the soft white succulent with light gray base, the ambient room temperature display, and the brightness of the color changing lights. There are four brightness settings to cycle through and a few options to change colors and animations. The music volume doesn’t get very loud and can be turned all the way down if you prefer to just have the lights. The 8 song choices are relaxing and include a few great ambient nature sounds. I especially like the Rainforest setting. The cry detection isn’t limited to crying. It will also detect sighs and other similar noises. This lamp would be even more amazing if it had the option to be battery powered. I was able to plug it into a power bank to make it portable. Overall, I really like the look of this lamp as décor and ambient lighting. I don’t have an infant but wanted the lamp for myself. It’s nice having a sweet little lamp that will listen for my sad sighs and respond with pretty lights and ambient sounds. I’ll definitely keep this in mind as a gift idea for friends and family with children or anxieties. 🤍I’ll detail the Cry Sensor setup and other features below:Cry Sensor Setup:• Turn on the lamp with the power button.• Record a message, erase your previous message, or skip this step. Note: The Recorded message will play at the onset of cry detection.• Choose a song and volume level• Press the clock button to cycle through one of the timer choices of 15, 30, or 60 minutes (a green light will indicate the time selected or an infinity sign. The infinity sign is continuous mode only, and the Cry Sensor will not work in this setting)• Press the sad face button (a green light will indicate that cry activation was selected)The lamp will now listen for crying for a maximum of 10 hours. If crying noises or sighs are detected the lamp will automatically turn back on, play your pre-recorded message, and continue the previously played song at the previously set volume. If the lamp loses power, then the Cry Sensor will need to be setup again.Music/Volume:The music doesn't have an off switch, but the volume can be turned down all the way down with the -/+ buttons until you can't hear it. The loudest setting isn’t very loud. Press the music note to scroll between the 8 song options (Sleepy, Lullaby, Dreamer, Cozy, Pink Noise, Waves, Ambient, Rainforest). Setting the timer will cause the music and lights to turn off after the specified time.Timer:Press the clock button to cycle through the timer options (15, 30, 60 minutes), or cycle to the infinity symbol to leave the unit on continuous play. A green light will indicate your selection. (note that cry activation can’t be set in continuous play mode).Voice Recorder:Hold down the microphone button to record a 10 second message. Wait for a beep to start speaking and release the button to stop recording. Press the microphone button once to hear a replay. Your message will play when the cry sensor detects crying, followed by the sounds/lights based on previous settings. To delete your recording, hold down the sad face cry sensor button and the microphone buttons together at the same time for 1 second. Your recorded message will not be lost if the power to the lamp is unplugged or disrupted.Temperature Display:The temperature will display Fahrenheit, but you can use a pin to press into a small hold located near the power button if you want to change to Celsius. The display will always show the ambient temperature. The display doesn’t offer any other features or settings (no clock/time).*Thanks for reading! Hope it was helpful. 🦄*
