Fantastic product that does its job!
Wonderful product! The first thing you notice about this product is the professional care this company takes with shipping its products to you. It's Apple-level of thought in packaging here.Once you open the product the instructions are very easy to read and understand. The fan comes with a plastic template for use when you cut into your stand (or wherever it's going) which is much better than paper templates I've gotten with other types of products. The installation in my entertainment center was easy with the right tools. It hooks up to its own power supply and it's a nice bonus that the fan itself contains USB power outlets and plug-type outlets for other items to plug into and be powered by! Once installed the adjustable fan speed makes the noise level from a level of inaudible to somewhat audible in a quiet room. Once you have your sound system or TV going you won't hear the fan even on the highest setting. One thing to note about my particular installation. I installed this on the back of my entertainment center as a set-it-and-forget-it type of install. The only issue here is the speed and power controls are on the back of the fan unit and thus, hidden from my view on the back. This won't be an issue if you plan on installing the fan on the side of a unit or cabinet but I did take a picture of the back of the power unit for my own reference in case I ever have to reach behind the unit and change the settings. Once I dialed in the setting I wanted, however, I haven't had a need to adjust anything. As to the effectiveness of the fan? It's great! My AV receiver sits in the entertainment stand my wife picked out. I mentioned that because she picked out a beautiful piece of furniture for the stand but it has zero ventilation as a unit. Obviously an AV receiver generates a LOT of heat and cannot sit in a closed box without ventilation. This fan has perfectly performed and I can attest with the help of my laser thermometer that the inside of the closed box stays nice and cool at all times!I cannot recommend this unit to you more highly. In fact, I've gone on to purchase three more smaller fans from this same company (for use in the same entertainment stand for my PS5 that sits in a smaller section of the entertainment stand). They work perfectly as well. Very highly recommended!

Hardly know it's there
For aesthetic reasons I like to have closed cabinets with my electronics and one side of my cabinet holds video game consoles. I had been using a cabinet fan that I purchased a decade ago. It was quite noisy and you had to switch it on and off manually. I decided to get this item because it is automatic with a thermostat you can set. I was really pleased because it is very quiet and hands-off. The USB ports are very helpful too. Looks well built so I"m expecting it to last for a very long time.

Good quality and aesthetics, but just okay performance
This looks and feels like a very high quality well made fan. It looks well designed and is packaged very nicely. However, the CFM seems to be very weak. It doesn't move much air - I haven't measured, but it's not close to the near 100 cfm rating. I'm not sure how well the thermostat control works, as I haven't measured that either, but I have had it kick on automatically at each of the setting at what feels like accurate temps. The fan is very quiet and I believe it is below the 51 dBA rating, even at full speed. Overall, I like the fan and the features very much.

Recommend for discrete cooling in a furniture cabinet
Purchased two of these to cool my Sonos amps hidden inside a media console in my living room. Overall impressed with the build quality and quiet operation. These units are doing exactly what I need. Installation took about 3 hours, as I wanted to avoid making a mistake with a new piece of furniture. The included plastic template is very helpful. The flange on the outside helps hide imperfections in your cutting. I used a jig saw but would recommend a mini rotary saw to get a perfectly square cut. I personally don’t need the power strip and USB ports, would have preferred an option to delete those features and have a lighter duty power cord that is easier to route in your cabinet.

AC Infinity Quality
As with the AC Infinity Aircom products I already own, this cabinet fan is just as well made with top notch quality that I've come to expect with this brand.I've used other brands for cooling AV cabinets that have similar operational features with the temperature sensing activation and all that but I feel like this unit has a bit more polish (higher end feel and look) where I wouldn't mind having its brush finish on display or being exposed vs being tucked away, out of sight. Other similar products I've used in the past look industrial grade and I don't know that I would want it on display in a high end AV setup being front and center. This unit is also well thought out with the added 110v outlets (up to 850w) and USB terminals that allow up to 4 additional fans per USB port. The fans in the unit are PWM units with four different temperature triggers. There is also a separate switch to power on/off the auxiliary outlets and USB terminals. The switches to control the fan temp triggers and the power for the outlets/terminals are independent of one another but it's not obvious as one would think the switch powers on the main fans but it doesn't. I only discovered that by reading the manual.A plastic template is also included that helps with cutting a precise opening into a cabinet. The hardware included matches the finish of the unit and is of high quality. The main fans can also be flipped around to be configured as an intake instead of the default exhaust setup. The only downside I can think of is that, as an intake fan, I would have liked to see the ability to install some type of filter to cut down on dust intake. The noise level is quite good. At the three lower settings from two feet away, I didn't notice much noise at all. At the highest setting, I could sort of make out the fan noise but it wasn't something that would stand out or interfere with audio.5 stars for another great AC Infinity product.
