Great lemon cutter, works well!

Cuts so well!
Anyone who wants to have a lime with a beer knows the frustration of cutting that "perfect" wedge lime that will fit into the bottle without having to exert undue pressure. Well, this cutter does just that! 8 perfect wedges! At $10, it could not be easier to use and literally takes seconds. A word of caution - the blade is extremely sharp. Even an accidental touching will result in a cut. Also, the directions state that a person should remover the stem of a lime before cutting. This isn't necessary and, in my case, doing so increases of the likelihood of me amputating a thumb or finger.

Get this!
As a bartender, this is a must have. It saves a ton of time and slices the fruit perfectly. It's well made and easy to use. It rinses off quickly and easily. So get this of you dont want to cut your finger off with the dull knives at your bar.🤣

It cuts lemons perfectly! Limes too!
I actually purchased this product to use as a Bartender at my job. The Norpro Lemon/Lime Cutter was worth the $9 or so that I paid for it. It started to become dull after 2.5 months of use. However, I was using it to cut more than 50 limes, and 20 lemons a day, and I used it like 3 to 4 shifts a week. So considering it's a home product, not commercial, for it to last 2.5 months before it started to really get dull on the blades is pretty darn good for the $9 I paid. I imagine keeping it clean, and just cutting a lemon or lime here and there at home, this product could easily last 3 years or more! I only deducted 1 star because sometimes it doesn't cut the limes all the way through, and you have to pick some of the lime out. It does best on lemons. However, that could also be because I was using it to cut LOTS pf limes and lemons, not just the occasional 1 or 2 here and there like someone at home would be doing. I recommend it!

Easy wedges
As a bartender who has to cut a bunch of wedges before my shifts, it's really helpful. A good purchase if you, for whatever reason, need to cut a ton of wedges and want to shave down time and effort.

Great slicer for home use with only two minor issues (4.5 stars)
As other reviews mention, this slicer is not designed for heavy use in bars or commercial kitchens and may only last a few months before needing to be replaced. For consumers, however, it's a no-brainer. I use it to cut two lemons and two limes a week, so at this rate, I expect it to last a year or two before the blades dull. Since it's so cheap to replace, that's not a big deal. The slicer cuts great and is ready to go right out of the box, no assembly required. Cleaning is easy except for the spot where the blades all align... a piece of pulp always gets stuck here, and I mean it gets wedged in tight! Because the blades are all pointing this way, you can't use your fingers to pull it loose—not unless you want to risk cutting yourself. What I've found works best is a pair of tweezers. One or two tweezer tugs and the pulp comes free. Then just rinse, air dry, and you're done. Note: The directions tell you to place lemons inside the slicer the opposite way of limes. That's the only tough part to remember (save the box, as that's the only place they wrote the directions). The slicer works regardless of which way you put them in, though you will get better wedges if you follow the instructions. Overall, I give this slicer 4.5 stars, knocking off a half-star for the annoying pulp and tweezers cleaning issue, plus having to remember to flip lemons and limes instead of it creating perfect wedges either way.

Didn’t cut well
The blade did not stay sharp for long. When I pressed down on this it hurt my hands. It was easier to just cut the fruit with a knife. However it was easy to clean. It was pretty flimsy I was king of scared it would fall apart. I gave it a 3 star because it may work out for some but just wasn’t for me.
