Perfect for cutting and adding or replacing pipe as it will slide completely out of the way onto the existing pipe as it does not have the stop in the center.

This was well-built and easy to install. Slid on like it was designed to do, and was a dollar cheaper than at my local big box store!

Worked very well. I had a main drain in my home that had a leaking fitting. The fitting was in the center of the house with no way to move the pipe on both sides of the fitting to use a regular coupling. I cut out the bad fitting and about a foot or so of pipe. Once the new fitting was in and the slip coupling was on the pipe, I VERY quickly put glue on both sides of the pipe seam and slid the coupling into place. Worked perfect. No leaks and no problems using the fitting. Dont use the cleaner or you will never get the coupling to slide into place.

The inside diameter (I.D.) of this pipe is 4-1/2". It fits very loosely over my broken green SDR35 Charlotte drain pipe whos O.D. is 4-3/16". Tons of glue will be needed. Maybe additional epoxy seal as well after the glue dries. Maybe it won't work. A tighter fit would be better.
