Norpro, White Digital Timer On A Rope, One Size

I got this for my husband. He helps out in the kitchen, but then I discover he left the water running (so it would get hot) or water on the stove (so it would come to a boil), and, because he doesn't want to just stand there and wait, he goes off to do something else in the meantime, and then gets involved in the something else. So this is a great reminder tool. I wanted a timer that he could wear around his neck (so he doesn't put it down and forget it) , and was easy to use, and this ticks all the boxes. He's using it, and has even commented on how easy it is to use. I think the battery is replaceable (hope so!). Anyway, I recommend it - highly.

I use timers regularly. I needed one that I could carry without accidentally hitting the buttons and so I wouldn’t be too far out of range to hear it. The lanyard is very long and there is a magnet on the back that sticks to the refrigerator door or maybe vent hood. It’s loud so it would be hard to miss even if left somewhere nearby. It will time up to 97 minutes and you can choose minutes or seconds. I sometimes slip it into my shirt so it doesn’t dangle if I am cooking or working near something it might get caught on. I can’t say enough about this timer. I might get one for another room or my car.

Just wanted to clarify that this timer works perfect, including the reset that many reviewers have said is missing. Right on the face it says reset and indicates that the second and minute hand should be pressed together for this function. You don't have to take the battery out. Just press them together and set the new time you would like. Great product and great price.A lifesaver for ADHD!

This timer worked well until it stopped working. Extremely delicate to “injury”, such as touching it! I used it about six times, hanging it around my neck , and it stopped keeping time and then stopped the alarm when a time was done . DON’T BUY! (Especially when the price goes up with tariffs for China ;)

I bought this for the sole purpose of timing my laundry spinner; it has no automatic shut off but shouldn’t be run for more than 5 minutes at a time. I don’t want to stand and babysit it so I bought this timer. It is a countdown type with an alarm at the end. Works great! My only complaint is that once you turn it on, it does not shut off. When I’m done with laundry for the day, I end up opening the battery compartment and disengaging the battery and then re-engaging the battery the next time I use it.

Nice size but not very loud. I bought this timer to hear while I wear it and still miss the tone going off. Maybe the battery is low, not sure I want to replace the battery though.

EXcellent timer to wear. I highly recommend this as you can take the timer with you, as necklace, and when it rings you know you must get back to turn the stove off. Last year I burned at least 3 pans on the stove as I'd forget about them.....and totally ruined the pans and could have burned down the house! SO, now I use this timer if I have to leave the room wear it! It is a good loud long ring you can't ignore. It is easy to read, large 'print'....love it.
