My dancer (13yrs) hates eating anything with nuts, making it hard to find a protein bar for her. One of her teammates suggested she try these and it's been a game changer! She can grab a bar and quickly eat it between classes for extra fuel. They taste good and the caffeine option is helpful for a quick additional energy boost. There isn't that weird texture that some bars have. They are on the more expensive side, but I feel they are good value since she eats them. Only down side is the chocolate will melt if in the sun, so just need to remember that.

My husband loves these bars. He said they taste great. You don't really feel the caffeine( at least he doesn't) but said he would continue buying these just for the taste.

They taste delicious! But here's the thing: why pay more for bars with a few mg of caffeine, when for $10 you can get a bottle of 100mg of caffeine pills and select your own dose much more affordably? and of course they're delicious; they have a whopping 17g of sugar in each one! The first ingredient is soy protein, and then the next few ingredients are all different types of sugars and syrups. Consider these a treat, not a supplement for fitness-based dieting.

I’ve tried many different protein bars that are gluten-free and the cliff builders by far are the best in my opinion. So easy to grab one as a quick breakfast and really helps after a workout to replace proteins and get my energy back

This is my favorite Clif's protein bar and added sugar worth it in my opinion.

I hate the way they taste. It's so dry, almost bitter. That said, it's kind of a perfect way to start a day: a bit of caffeine and plant protein. Please improve the taste. It is really limiting this bar's potential.
