Seagate Game Drive for Xbox Game Pass Special Edition 2TB - White (STEA2000417), Portable

2tb is nice, due to cost was within top-end of budget wanted the 4gb. Thats the Only Con. Now ive had this less then 24hrs. However i connected to xbox1, formatted it no issues n transferred 1.1tb of files took bout 1hr. No issues, its small n compact can carry n pocket (prob uncomfortable but small enough to fit). Comes with usb3.0 usb, and The 1 free month was nice extra. Would def recommend to anyone needing more space!

I've had bad luck with seagate in the past, but decided to give this one a go because the price per gb is great. It's also one of the only dedicated Xbox one externals I could find in sizes bigger than 1 tb. So far, so good! It was formatted in seconds after plugging it in. I transferred several of my larger games over to it right away. Most games load noticeably faster on this than they did on the 1tb internal. Games like forza, madden, halo, and skyrim load a lot faster on this by as much as 20 seconds for a forza race. Time will tell on longevity, but it works flawlessly about a month in. Unless it blows up, I've gotta recommend it!

It was easy to install and it is just what I needed !I would buy it again w/o a 2nd thought.You can use a cellphone stand to place it on as it doesn't come with a stand.I do however recommend buying this fantastic item.The price is right too.

Our Xbox One ran out of internal memory, so we were being forced to choose which game info could stay and which had to go and were unable to install new games. We considered ordering a regular stand-along hard drive, which would have been cheaper, but ordered this game drive specifically because we wanted it to integrate seamlessly. Installation was super simple, and the Xbox One recognized it right away with no problems saving information. We are now able to download as many games as we would like, and have no more memory problems. Well worth the money!

When I received this external hard drive, I was impressed by the packaging and the look and finish of this product. The only issue I had, was when I looked through the paperwork and also read on the box, that I should get a code for a free month of xbox game pass which I didn't have a code. I went online and messaged back and forth with customer service and they sent me a code within 2 days. I was pleased with how they treated this problem, even though it was rather a minor issue.

I wish I could give 5 stars, but can't in good conscience. The drive worked great when it did work, but after 3 months it stopped working. I called Seagate everything seemed to be going great with my drive still under warranty. We tried replacing the cable, but it didn't solve the problem. Seagate told me to send it in & they would replace it because it was still under warranty. Well after they received it I got an email back it seemed like they wouldn't replace it. I call Seagate again to find out what was going on with the replacement and they are going to replace the drive after all. I am pleased they are going to honor the warranty after all. Make sure to check your warranty to make sure it good.

This additional storage drive is excellent and even has the Xbox One logo on it. Very good quality and all you do is plug it into one of the USB ports on the Xbox One. The game system immediately sees the storage device and you can name it whatever you want. I installed a total of 36 games and still have like 80+% more storage space left over. My system is the 500G and this device added 2TB additional space. Well worth the price and a must have for all Xbox One gamers that own more than 10 games.

So far the hard drive was a pretty good buy. I’ve seen other reviews of other hard drives failing but I have no idea what that means but this one is pretty good. It makes it better that I bought the game pass one. It allows me to save over 30+ games (thats how many I have now) and I still have at least 1.5 tb. A must buy for Xbox users!
