Very good quality, heavy gauge welded steel. Needed as a center extender for a rectangular arbor. Because of the 3 way connection, a strong cross brace is created when using this with four corner units. Nice looking and solid, can't ask for more,

Made my second gazebo with these again. Looks so nice and way more expensive than what you actually spent. Super happy.Would love if they came out with a smaller size for smaller decorative project like a garden arch where you really wouldnt use 4x4s

These worked great for me in addition to the base plates from Antsky that I used to build my pergola. The frame part that holds the 4X4's is 14 gauge steel and the corner bracket that you can clip a sunshade or other things to is 8 gauge steel. These corner brackets also come with matching powder coated black hardware to fasten the 4X4's and a drill bit for pilot holes.These are great for a standard sized pergola or if you have a not perfectly shaped or sized space like me. Most out of the box pergola's are 8X8 or 10X10 or 12X12. I needed about 11' 11" by 11' 2" to maximize the space I had, but what really sealed the deal for me is the box store pergolas are all 8 feet high and that would have put a 4X4 (and the top of the pergola) below eye level for me when in the house. I needed 10 feet to clear the window and building my own with brackets was the only solution for that.These are 5 star brackets for sure and I am happy with the results.

Worked out quite well. Overall construction is sturdy enough to withstand recent 60mph storms without any issues.Getting the wood into the bracket could prove to be a challenge. I had to shave some wood down in order to fit the wood inside the brackets. Canopy hooks/ears were super convenient for attachment of the canopie (also from Amazon).1.5 months in with this pergola and very happy.Def recommend as an alternative to the kits sold at major hardware stores.

Would buy again in heartbeat, some post have to be sanded but not these folks product fault, this is excellent stainless would buy again no issue
