I have ordered other covers for my leather furniture in the past and it was impossible to keep them from slipping. As soon as we sat down the backs slipped too which exposed the top of the reclining furniture. This item works perfectly! The length of the back pieces and the straps really keep things in place. I read comments saying you have to tuck them in too often. I expected a little of that because both couches are recliners. My picture was taken after 2 days of people sitting on it and before I tucked it in. That small inconvenience is well worth it for me. I have 3 cats and a 20 month old. Juice and milk spills do not soak through and if you catch them early enough you can just wipe clean with a wet cloth. Anti slip works well too. I would buy again.

UPDATE: Doesn’t work on an electric zero-gravity style recliner! When you recline, the part tucked between the seat sections pulls out, rendering it useless. I feel like it would be better if it didn’t tuck between the seats, but even then, it’s the extension of the seat that’s really difficult to accommodate. If you only want to put your feet up, it could work. But I recline all the way back. Going back to using a throw on the seats. Firstly, it has the sticky dots on the back side so it won’t slip. That was a must! Second, it’s a decent colour for our dark grey couch. Third, it seems reasonably good quality. It took me about 20 minutes to install because it took some trial and error to get it aligned with my couch the most natural way. It isn’t as fitted as in the photos, but it’s pretty good. I had to put the bottom seat elastics inside the architecture of my couch, behind the flaps, and it seems that would be the case in most reclining couches, if not all. My concern is durability and toxicity. It has a very faint chemical smell and there was a note somewhere I read about them using chemicals. I hope that smell fades because I’m quite sensitive to chemicals, and I don’t want my dogs breathing it in. Overall, it seems better than using a blanket on the couch which always needs adjusting, but time will tell. I’m sitting on it now and my sinuses hurt from the off-gassing. I didn’t wash it beforehand because I wanted to see if it would fit. Now that I spent all that time putting it on, I’m going to leave it for a while before taking it off for washing.
