Comfy, sturdy, just what I needed.
I ordered this for my wife who had neck surgery and I knew she needed support while recuperating. I wanted to buy an adjustable bed frame but was shocked at the prices ($1500+). Plus, since I don’t have a split mattress, if she wanted to be in a sitting position, I would have to be in the same position. I found this while searching on Amazon and I thought it would be a good alternative but I found it more expensive than I expected. I decided to pull the trigger and got it the day my wife returned from the hospital. She loved it! It is very sturdy, comfortable, and seems to be constructed well. Only time will tell about that but so far it is exactly what we needed.

Second one
I got one of these in 2012 and it was time to replace it. If you are disabled and spend a lot of time in bed this is the bed chair to get.***Revised*** I just bought an adjustable bed but I'm still going to use my BedLounge. Switching between the two helps keep me more comfortable. I'm tall... so I also found that using this at the head of the bed and raising the foot of the bed is a great option too :)

Very nice
Definitely a step up from my last purchase of a TV pillow.Mine had two straps extending about 10 inches each at the end of the arms? The photos don't show this and I can't figure out what they are for. I tucked them into the side pockets but, not as I would have liked. I also removed the top pillow portion because it is made for a taller person. The side pockets are large enough to insert things without having them only half in. Very nice feature.

but the description sounded perfect. The product arrived 11 days after my original ...
I purchased this bed lounge after a lot of research on back support pillows. My husband had a major neck surgery (spinal fusion) and needed a pillow to support his neck and back, while sitting in bed, watching T.V. This bed lounge was a little more expensive than other options, but the description sounded perfect. The product arrived 11 days after my original order, and 3 days before my husbands surgery. It was easy to assemble when I pulled it out of the box. The optional lower back support pillow is nice, but the arms of the bed lounge are not what I expected. They are stiff and a little awkward. My husband was unable to recline the head rest to fit his comfort needs. The head rest is pretty much a pillow on a stick, that you can pull up to adjust to your height. We thought it would be more like a head rest in a car, that would lock into place. Instead, it is more like a stick sewn tightly into a fabric pocket, which works to a certain extent. Bottom line: Its okay

Very comfortable option for extended periods sitting up in bed
I bought this because my wife was having surgery and was going to have to spend an inordinate amount of time in bed convalescing. There was no way that cascading pillows behind her was going to be comfortable. The BedLounge looked like a much better option than the "overstuffed pillows" that were my other choices. Her surgery was two days ago and, so far, she LOVES it --- very comfortable and likes the side pockets to put her glasses in and anything else that she wants to keep track of, but still get out of the way. The arms function much like the arms on a real chair. We are unable to use the headrest because of the design of our headboard. Even though ~$150 is a lot to spend on an item that probably cost a fraction of that to make, so far it has been well worth the money for her.

Comfort and Support
Overall I did not like this product, its not comfortable for me and it does not have the Insert Lumbar Pillow support I was expecting and needed for back support. It does not fit my bed very well, it simply does not work for me. I will return the item soon.

Comfortable back rest
This is a well designed and comfortable back rest. It seemed expensive for a back rest but I anticipate using it for many years. It is much larger than I had anticipated and makes reading in bed more like sitting in a recliner (a nice thing since I don't have a recliner!).

Great bed lounger.
I cracked my shoulder and had surgery on it and as part of my routine I had to sleep upright in my bed and this bed lounger was a great asset to have.

not sturdy
Not as sturdy as it looks like in the photos. The head rest is just stuck on top of a cardboard type board and is not rigid. The delivery took about a week longer than claimed.
