Van HeusenMen's Dress Shirt Regular Fit Pinpoint Solid

I've purchased several of this type shirt (VanHeusen Pinpoint Oxford) before - all had generally proper fits. But this latest one was a mess. The shoulders/arm holes were completely out of proportion to the rest of the shirt - hanging well below my actual shoulders creating a baggy fit. Ultimately, this also caused the sleeves to be too long and bunch - the pirate sleeve effect. Same size as my most recent orders -17.5 x 34-35 sleeve but bad cut I suppose. Should have realized it by the way the shoulders had multiple creases the way it was folded in the plastic packaging but I just thought it was something the folding process caused. So washed and dried to remove all the extra creases/wrinkles - it just drooped down both arms. Not sure I can return now since it was washed so probably will donate to charity since it wasn't too expensive. Bitterly disappointed and now don't trust to order more of these - those arm holes were made for some weird shaped metahuman. Just feel stupid I didn't catch it when I tried it on out of the package. My closet is full of Van Heusen dress shirts but will have to move on.

First, I bought it because I thought the blend of 40% polyester might make this wrinkle-free indeed. However, I just washed, immediately put them (bought three) into the dryer and pulled them out at the sound of the bell and was sorely disappointed. The polyester is only 15% according to the tags, not 40%, which means they'll need to be dried. For sure, they need to be ironed. They come out so wrinkled there is no way you can wear them to work. The collars don't even have a permanent crease so even they don't bubbly. The shirts fit good but they're going back as these shirts are definitely not "easy care" and wrinkle free.

I have purchased multiple of this shirt for work and travel. These shirts are not wrinkle-free. When I travel, I take them out of my suitcase and they are always wrinkled. When I am home, I take them out of my drawer and they are wrinkled. I always need to iron the shirts to remove the wrinkles. You can see the wrinkles in the photo.I also have issues where buttons have just come off. Recently this happened on the collar and one in the chest area. It would be good if they better reinforced the buttons.The shirt fits well, but they don't meet their commitment on wrinkle free, and there are quality issues with buttons.

This shirt arrived and the tag that said everything packaged with the shirt,( plastic tabs, tags, pins etc) had to be included on any return should have been my first clue. 32-33 sleeves were actually 26 as measured by my tailor. The shirt had 17 loose threads that needed cutting off. The color of the material was inconsistent. In short poorly made. I will never buy a Van Heusen shirt or product again. Never!

When this shirt arrived, it had threads stick out from the seams that I had to trim off. My husband has only worn this shirt to the office three times, but it ripped near the cuff on one sleeve. I'm not sure if the shirt I received was defective, but the quality is extremely low, and I would hesitate to purchase another one of these unless I receive a replacement that is of higher quality stitching.

In the past with other shirts, the sleeve length 34-35 tended to be too short for me. I decided to order a longer sleeve length, but this one seems too long. Probably my fault for not having the right size arms and shoulders.

As a former Arrow shirt guy, I find this to be a reasonable option although I certainly do miss the Arrow brand. It doesn't really matter to me any more as I am retired and don't have to worry about playing the game any longer. Golf shirts and cargo shorts rule...

The Con: So both of us thought it was a purple shirt, but the tag read blue. Next room diff lighting and it looked gray! In sunlight near a window it could pass for blue. Strange color!! The shirt has a sheen to it so it may just pick up colors.The Pro: Sleeves and collar fit nicely. Glad for Tall options on dress shirts.

The shirt is very good as far as quality is concerned, I love the color. As far as the size is concerned, I noticed that at the reverse of the wrapping plastic bag, there are three more additional sizes: Regular, Slim and Fitted. I do not understand why these additional sizes are not included in the on line description. I could have had the option to decide what size would have been more addecuate to me, of course the regular fit is not the proper one!.

Product seems decently made. A little thin in its material, but that's all you can get in a dress shirt these days.Will see how it wears after a few washings.

The ‘no wrinkle’ shirts can’t be 100% cotton too bad although it is still very neat and comfortable.

Great shirts - especially at the price point.I bot 3 white shirts and had them embroidered with company logo for trade-show duty.
