SC25 3.5mm to 2.5mm Stereo Output Cable for Lumix DSLR Cameras

I bought this to replace the supplied cable of the Rode VideoMicro shotgun microphone to connect it to my Panasonic GX8. The VideoMicro has a 3.5mm stereo output, while the GX8 has a 2.5mm stereo input. I did not want to use any adapters with the audio chain, because adapters can cause issues with quality. This cable is the perfect solution for anyone who is looking at doing the same as I have. I did not have to do much editing, and there was no noticeable white noise. The audio was clean.

All this time, I was getting no benefit from having the Rode VideoMicro with its native cables attached to my Panasonic camera. I purchase this highly economical cable here on Amazon.com and that does the trick. Now, I am finally getting the benefit of this supposedly fantastic microphone from Rode.

I hope this review makes it to google or whatever because I have owned my ax720s for a while now and the first thing to go was the mic wire from the headset to the controller. This wire is THE MOST SPECTACULAR REPLACEMENT! I don't even think the original wire worked this good! No static when moving and it is so snug you could drop the controller and the wire would hang on still! If you need a wire that's 2.5 to 3.5 look no further. Got it cheap and fast. Beachtek has my business for all my wiring needs now.

This is a great quality cable at an ideal length for audio-for-video use. I am using it on a Panasonic Lumix GH2 with a Shure VP83F Lenshopper DSLR mic and it works perfectly (the mic came with a 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable but the GH2 has a 2.5mm input so this was a direct swap for the stock mic one). If you are looking to go from a 2.5mm stereo connection to a 3.5mm one and are able to or want to use a short length coiled cable, this is a great option.
