22 Count Evenweave Fabric Slightly Stiff Cross Stitch Cloth, White, W29 x L39

I use 22count embroidery cloth a lot. This product is a good selection, albeit a “no name” product. The fabric is a bright white, and a well-made cloth, without being too stiff. I’ve been using it to produce Christmas ornaments. The image attached is a WIP which shows how fine the work. Highly recommended.

Pros: Right color (white), right count (22), softer is still pretty stiff (expected). 1 meter ordered, 1 meter received.Con: Cut folded, not quite on the grain. I stitched a line on the grain, starting in the corner next to the edge I serged (pictured on left). This grain line was about 5cm/2in off the cut edge at the farthest (in the middle, at the center fold).If you're using this for something where the grain is important (like cross stitch), plan for an extra margin when near their cut edge. Maybe also stitch along the grain for reference before starting, like I did, to ensure placement.Also, it took several extra days to get to me. I don't know the why of that, but it did eventually arrive safely.Overall, I'm happy with it.

This particular fabric has an inconsistent weave. Many of the columns are noticeably more narrow.
