Two decades ago I was in Canada and got sick and swore I was going to have to die to get better. My friend told me to take a spoonful of Buckley's and I'd feel better. OMG I can't even describe it. The taste and after burn leaves you speechless. Next day wow I felt among the living again. My friend told me the other day he and his wife were sick. I ordered this Buckley's Original for them. One dose and they're both back to work lol tastes like pine tar and I think you WILL yourself better so you don't have to take another dose. All I know is I've had a bottle available for literally almost 20 years... just in case

Nasty but magic.
Taste like what I can imagine ammonia must taste, but this stuff is magic. Helped me Major through Flu season past winter, Twice. Truly is not appetizing but it has become a major staple in my medicine cabinet every winter.

Unbelievably best cough syrup I’ve ever used!
This is not a paid review. This is me honestly sharing my experience. I’ve had a bad cough off and on since December. Throughout my life, I’ve tried EVERY cough syrup EXCEPT this one. RX and OTC- I’ve tried them all. My coworker asked if I ever tried Buckley’s cough syrup? He said "it tastes terrible but it works"! He wasn’t lying on either account! It tastes like I don’t know what, but I slept last night (laying flat) without coughing! It’s $$ for a small bottle on amazon and tastes like a shot of horrible. The constant tickle in my throat is gone and I can take a deep breath without coughing. I’m beside myself with this amazing little secret cough syrup! I just had to tell someone!!

This stuff is brutal but..
I dont know how to properly review this cough medicine. Will it help ease your cough and make you feel better within minutes? Yes. Will it be the most foul tasting thing you ever put in your mouth that you have to spend 5 minutes hyping yourself up just to drink it? Also yes. My advice, don't smell it first.

MUCH smaller in size but not in potency
I grew up taking the original flavor of Buckleys so I know that it works for coughs/chest congestion. Heads up...if you're expecting the size of the bottle to be the same you'll be tremendously disappointed. I ordered 3 bottles believing they would be the size that I'm accostomed to & laughed when I saw how small the bottles actually are(2 of these bottles can fit into 1 of the size I grew up knowing/using). Always a GREAT product

Say Goodbye to coughing spell with Buckley's
I had been dealing with congestion for weeks due to the erratic weather changes. I didn't need a sugary coat throat. it definitely worked! It was a good value and was referred to me by a friend. Strong taste but it cleared my congestion within 2 days.
